Omg. That went fast. So if all goes as planned I'll be making out first attempt sometime next week.

Except I'm a little Nervous to not go another month; to be on the diet longer. As is it will be 8 weeks On the diet, 7 of cardio but with 2 separate down weeks.
I've been a boy diet my whole life. I hope 8 weeks is enough of a sway. Last baby so I don't want always wonder what if...

That being said my hubby has said he does NOT want to stop trying in July. He said if we don't success we are going to keep at it and figure the wedding thing out later... Once we have a viable pregnancy under way we can worry about what to do about my clients.
So that's good news!!! It kinda makes me want to stick out the diet and cardio a month more, and let this round of Clomid just sort out my cycle (fx).
What do you all think? Should I go for it, or wait it out given the new info on the work plan?

I say go for it. I wouldn't waste a month on clomid and the odds of conceiving your first month aren't high. Good luck!

It's a hard one hey.. I am in the same sort of position... We will be ttc next month (June) and I will have been on the diet/exercise for 9 wks. I would like to think that I could wait until July so I could say I have done the 12wks, but at 37, I just want to hurry up and get pregnant, so June it is... I guess you have to try and make peace with the fact that if you get an opposite, will you blame yourself for not waiting the extra 4 weeks, or will you be ok with knowing you gave it a good crack... iykwim? Well that's where I am at anyways... lol

I am sooooo tempted to want to try this month - but I know I can wait at least til next month, giving myself a better chance of pink :)

Meeting in the middle huh? Ya I kinda was too. I was originally going to do April - my very first cycle back from After having ds 4. I keep thinking about that family souk the 13 boys... Maybe I'm just set for boys. I'm going to go for it I think.

Ya I don't want to waste it either - but if it does get me on track it's worth its weight in gold!

NO NO NO you CANNOT skip months on Clomid. THat is not allowed. IF you took the Clomid, you have to attempt. That is the rule.

If you weren't on Clomid I'd say wait another month. Since you are, you must attempt! But only one BD at positive OPK this cycle! If you don't get lucky then try every 4 days. Good luvk hun!

Thanks ladies [emoji173]️ thinking pink :)
Speaking of Martha - My house is driving me craaaazy its gotten so messy. If I clean it all and get it nice and pretty I know I'll probably be more at rest but sitting in it (especially my bedroom) is giving me anxiety. It's like I've gotten way TOO good at letting "it go", but is it More Martha to care and do all the cleaning and get things "in order" (reminds me much of the story Martha comes from).

Sitting around worrying about if it's Martha to clean or not to clean IS MARTHA.

That is precisely what I do not want you guys to do.

Live your lives. Do what you normally do. Do NOT sit around in a messy house debating the pros and cons of housework. Clean the house. Tons of "Mary" types have clean houses. No one is saying girl moms are slobs. They just do what they do and live their lives without all this inner angst that we Marthas seem to naturally bring to every circumstance.

Mary and Martha are JUST A STORY. A story that is supposed to illustrate a bigger point. Look at Sloane and Jeannie. NO one was cleaning anything in that story. It was an illustration of the difference between a person who tries to control every aspect of every THING vs. someone who doesn't. That is what you're supposed to take away from those stories.

Sitting around thinking about whether you should clean your house or not is no different than Jeannie getting totally unhinged over Ferris skipping school. It is the exact same thing. Trying to control the situation to an insane extent to yield an outcome one finds desirable. Just do what you do.

I honestly wonder if it is even possible to understand until you've walked on both sides of the line. I know someone could have tried to explain it to me before, and I would not have gotten it, and even if I had I would have been powerless to change anything.

Please just do what you normally do in terms of housework and living your day to day life.

I totally am a Martha lol bc im happy as a lark when everything is in its place, but dang if it all gets out of order by George im a mess. (Ocd? Maybe) backing up a recent response that im very blue in my ways; but have made some awesome changes (swaying or not) to let go of stuff. It's just the house was an example of how far I let it slide lol

How are you getting on HMBOMT? Have you had any side effects on the clomid at all? Are you officially in the 2ww? :)

Thank yk for asking Inmi!
Actually AF just started last night. I was so confused. Still am. I ended my round of Clomid on cd 53 and got cross hairs on FF that same day. So it couldn't be the Clomid working so quickly - but if FF is right them
I literally had like a 5.5 day luteal phase.
The more hopeful explanation is that I did ovulated just before taking the C, (since I got tired of waiting for AF, and decides to jump start it).
What I don't know is whether I should go ahead with the Clomid on cd 3 or 5 despite JUST finishing it a week ago?

I am so tempted to BD this cycle - how did you get past that on your last cycle... lol?! I have been on the diet and exercise for about 6-7 weeks now..... I - must - wait...........!!!

My last cycle was a nightmare and I wanted to start the Clomid so we didn't bd, then as soon as I was done the round we started the every 4 days, but then, as you know, AF came 5 days later so that killed that lol now we wait!
It was going to be only 8wks on the diet for me (I was expecting to ovulate from the Clomid sometime around now..) so it will be more like 10 wks when I make the attempt. I WANT to be on it longer but.... My old age and crazy job need me pregnant soon as humanly possible...

Thanks PP :) I do want to get this right... and I have already moved up from July to June - so I should just go and get on my treadmill and forget about it - right? I wonder if others get to this point and have a 'moment'...... Maybe I need to have a cheat on my diet to let me be able to keep going.. I have been so strict so far! I think I am missing my cheesecake and pastries...nom nom....

YOu guys need to remember though that swaying aside, we are also in a race against time and I feel like it's better to TTC sooner rather than later for those in late 30's.

Amen Atomic! This is the first time I felt I did anything right and despite a perfect twelve weeks on the diet being the objective; I feel I made MASSIVE chAnges and really gave it my best chance at pink! So ready! Today is CD 3; so round 2 of Clomid. This IS my month. Im just debating going back to one attempt at pos OpK vs every 4 days... Not sure. I'm nervous o will be a little too far off centre and I'll be tempted to add that second attempt. Maybe next month I'll try it (if we don't catch the egg this month) and stick to the 4 this month
