All the ovulation signs are there but no pos opk yet, day 16. Just going to stick with dtd every 4 days to cover ov. Just wondered if taking paracetamol or Ibuprofen for the cramps would have any impact on my sway? This is my first month off BC so not really used to having cramps or niggles! Tia x

No ibuprofen, it can interfere with O I've heard. Not sure on paracetamol but probably okay.

Definitely avoid ibuprofen. I'd try a heating pad or something! I've been having headaches from my hormones rising and I keep telling myself.. it will mess things up.. don't do it! :)

Thanks for the info, it never occurred to me before and in don't wanna mess up my O so glad I checked! Think I'll just have a hot bath & go to bed, not used to all these niggles. X

Paracetemol (Tylenol, acetominophen) is ok to take around O. Do not take ibuprofen or aspirin more than 350 mg around O, it can inhibit ovulation.

That's interesting! I'm an Advil junkie! When I get migraines I have to step it up into the realm of codeine... How does that effect swaying? Or does it?

Codeine would sway pink, we believe, but I have very little info to back it up. The old school people said "it was acidifying" but I don't think that even works, so I am just operating under the belief that most medications reduce fertility at least somewhat.

I'm trying not to take anything at all apart from my supplements from my sway play..... Am getting a peak on my fertility monitor so should ov in the next couple of days *fingers crossed*

Codeine almost definitely sways pink to some extent and should not interfere with O. I take high dose opiates 24/7 and have for almost 6 years with no apparent effect on my cycle.

Heroin is a fantastic painkiller but sadly illegal most places...but not everywhere. It can't be taken orally which is a hassle especially for chronic use. It is truly a shame it's not used more places medically as it is superior to most if not all other painkillers; more effective for pain, fewer side effects, and lasts longer. Oxycodone is more addictive and more recreational value so it makes no sense. Then again drug laws rarely do.

I've known several oxy addicts, it is very sad (I'm also amgry at them for making it harder for those with pain to get meds). I don't understand it personally bc I hate how opiates make me feel, I only take them bc the pain is even worse. Oxy in particular makes me a raging bitch and all jittery, not pleasant.

*screeeeeeam!!!!!!! I took ibuprofen before O this cycle ( which was delayed 2 days consequently) thanks to migraines cause by drinking raaw juices which I thought would help my sway.
I'm destined to keep making mistakes purely through lack of knowledge :(

Awwww True I'm sorry! Are you sure it was the raw juices that caused your migraines, not hormones? I most oftrn get migraines in the week before O due to rising estrogen levels.
I don't think the couple days of ibuprofen will affect your sway significantly, though.

Don't panic, True, most of the time it DOESN'T delay O!!!! I take it all the time for chronic neck pain and my O has never been delayed.

I'm sure maiden, I think it may have been the stevia in them because I bought stevia for my sway back in Sept last year and it gave me awful migraines so I threw it out. I forgot about it until I started drinking the raaw juices.
I always get a headache or migraine if I'm unlucky, for 3 days before my period but these migraines lasted up until CD 11 and stopped only when I stopped the juices. Thank for the reassurance. I always seem to unintentionally mess up.
Thank you atomic!! My O actually was delayed this cycle which I don't mind we still have good attempts but I am afraid it may hinder implantation if we were lucky enough to have sperm meet egg this time.
I actually took 2 ibuprofen yesterday as I had a migraine starting ( stress this time thanks DH)
How strongly does anyone believe ibuprofen sways pink?

I don't think it would sway pink very strongly. In moderate doses and not taken every day for weeks or more on end I bet it has hardly any gender sway effect. It's not like aspirin, and even aspirin isn't a strong pinj sway tactic. I truly wouldn't worry about it.
I have heard of some people reacting badly to stevia, I'm so sorry you are among them. Why woukd they even add it to juices? Seems like that would be too sweet IMO.

It was too sweet, I imagine the drinks would be just fine without a sweetener, the taste under the stevia was quite pleasant :)
I am a stress head.
Thank you maiden :hug2:

I don't think it matters at all. I think you are perfectly fine and had a fantastic blue sway. If there were a magic pill that made us have girls, we would know it by now! :)

How true is that!!
Why on earth I panic like I do I will never know.
Thank you mommas I honestly don't know what I would do without you all to keep me somewhat sane ;)
