Tried asking this the other day but I think GD hates me because it won't let my posts go through without mod approval. Grrrrr!

I started taking Metamucil pills with food and I noticed on the bottle it claims to promote "healthy blood sugar levels". Is this a concern since the point of us pink swayers is to keep blood sugar low?

It would keep them level not high so I would assume that's better right?

I didn't think of it like that. Sounds like a good theory. I'm only taking the fiber with meals so maybe it prevents it from shooting upward?

Ya and I typically don't take it at all unless it's a fatty food tbh. My hope is that it carries away the excess.

Well it is a known fact that fiber helps slow the blood sugar rise. It's the reason why eating white bread with 1g of fiber will cause a faster blood sugar rise than eating a piece of 100% whole wheat bread with 5g of fiber. Like how juice will cause a blood sugar spike higher and faster than eating a whole piece of fruit (that contains the fiber, pulp, and skin).

I don't know why that is happening sometimes, but I allowed your other post and answered there.

:agree: we don't even know how the blood sugar works.

Guys, don't get too hung up on "it's blood sugar" or "it's testosterone". Look at the RESULTS which are that fiber does sway pink. We don't need to know why and all the It's this or that speculating that people do, only causes anxiety levels to skyrocket over things that don't matter anyway.
