I think it's a good idea. I wouldn't go to a clinic without feedback from previous cyclers. Good luck!

Chocolate cycled there about 18 months ago- it was a BFN. Search for her cycle in the completed cycle stickies. Your best bet is most likely HRC. Genesis uses an old testing method n you would most likely need a few cycles. Clinic R in the Czech has been getting great results but there's some confusion as to whether or not they tell you the gender (you may just get the other PGD results), so it is more risky. With HRC, they have great stats and are a super clinic and you can be totally open about Gs. You have the best chance of being a OHW (or only a couple of cycles) there. It is by far the most expensive though, and there's the travel to Cali. My first cycle we went as a family and everything (Inc. Holiday, cycle, meds etc) cost approx £20k. If you read through the old cycle stickies it will give you a good picture of the various clinics. Good luck!!

Thanks a lot Eneli and chattymonkey for your replies.
Probably this will be my last attempt. I had couple of failed PGD attempts. I want to do PGD for boy.
chattymonkey, I agree with you,HRC is a good clinic but very costly. I think all the clinics in US are very pricey compared to czech. And there will be lot more travel for me to reach those clinics.
I am thinking of going to clinic R after reading good reviews here. But how do I come to know about name of clinic R as GS is not allowed in czech, nobody is saying its full name.

I would also be interested in knowing the name of clinic R. I am also looking at Embio in Greece. I've never had IVF and I'm 43 yrs so time is against me and I need to be able to start treatment ASAP. I can't find feedback on here regarding Embio but lots on clinic R except I need someone to help by confirming the name just so that I don't end up contacting the wrong clinic. Thanks.

I recently received IVF treatment Embio with an egg donor programme which failed.

Overall, I was highly dissatisfied with the level of professionalism and care provided.

Unlike other clinics, Embio does not carry out `mock transfers' believed by many specialists to significantly increase pregnancy rates. My experience involved a highly painful procedure which was likely to cause considerable uterus trauma and expulsion of embryos.

The clinic also does not check patients' progesterone levels crucial for implantation. Also, despite using a young egg donor, only three eggs were fertilised to embryo stage, with no viable embryos to freeze and use for a further attempt. There was no consultation provided either, as provided by most clinics, of the quality or grading of the embryos. transferred.

There was a huge amount of patients being treated at the same time which meant that the waiting/recovery room was filled to capacity. This did not reflect the significance of the treatment received and the expense; it felt more like a `cattle market’ than a private healthcare clinic.

Finally, the cost of treatment at this clinic is approximately double the standard costs charged by the majority of clinics outside of the UK.

It is a month now that I returned from Greece. I chose a centre in Crete and in particular the Crete Fertility Centre in Heraklion. I used donated eggs and I am now pregnant. Me and my partner are very happy and I am very satisfied with their professionalism and treatment. I could contact them 24/7 and I did not have any stress at all.

Hello, I'm from Romania, please excuse me English, I would also like me where you made IVF if you did with frozen embryos or with fresh embryos and what were the costs. Thank you.
