Good luck Pinkin :) fingers crossed for you in July.

I have been on the LE Diet since the beginning of May, but only doing my first attempt in Sept.

I must say, although I am finding the diet change easy, I really miss cereal and tea :(

This is my first time posting. I have been researching swaying over a year and mustard up the guts to create an account last night. I have two precious boys and we will be trying in July! The weekend of July 4th to be exact. Which makes me a little nervous because we plan to be out of town and I will be off of my routine I'm sure!

So... How far are you going with your sway? Now that I have joined and seeing all this new information I think I'm totally off!lol 😩😩

Are you doing any sort of girl swaying diet boysboys?

I have been on the LE diet for nearly 7 weeks. I am due to ovulate at the end of july so I will have been on the diet for 12 weeks by then. I have been doing 80 minutes of cardio daily and a few supps. Vitex, folate, fibre . I am aiming for a cut off this time of about 3 or 4 days with one attempt. I know my odds of conception are low but I want to try that for 2 cycles and move a bit closer each time. My husband is taking LR, Calcium and mag. plus cranberry. He is also having 1 large glass of soy milk each day. He has been wearing 2 pairs of jocks 24/7 lol!!!! He has not had red meat for about 2 months , No fish or eggs. I pretty much cook him vegetarian or chicken dishes sometimes pork too. I am really trying hard with my sway I cant do much more so if it doesn't work it just must not be meant to be.

I will be o'ing in 5-ish days and that'll be our first attempt, so not quite July but close enough. Good luck, ladies! I've always been a one hit wonderer when it comes to getting pregnant, so I'm hoping that'll be the case for me this time around, as well.

I have recently lost from 151 to 130 using the my fitness pal. Just keeping my calories at 1200. But I kinda just eat what I want and prob should've been eating more "girl friendly food". I'm still hoping the weight loss is to my advantage.

With my boys I did 3-4 attempts during fertile window. I'm thinking I will do one attempt at positive OPK. My positive is usually in the early morning and my hubby will be off work so hoping to BD right after positive. I just posted more details. I wish I knew how to link so you could look at it.

Can I join you ladies? I'm going onto cycle 3. Have been doing the pcos LE (of sorts) for about 3 months now and lost about 14lb. Struggling with reducing meat at times but cut out red meat and eating more prawn based meals instead. I'm trying to exercise when I can but finding that a struggle so not doing it the recommended 6 days a week but aiming for 3-4 times for an hour.

The last 2 cycles I noticed I've had barely any ewcm at all and we dtd at positive opk. This month I'm planning on bd once the day before positive opk if I can guess it right as I'm sure I tend to O the day of positive opk so I'm thinking it might be better if the spermies are sat waiting for the egg. May try every 4 days. I'm not taking any supplements apart from folic acid now as baby aspirin was causing mid cycle spotting so I've decided to take it after ovulation every 3 days onwards.
I'm due to ovulate right at the end of the month around the 29th so will bd on 28th.

Pink dust to everyone!

Here's hoping July brings us good luck! This month will be my 5th time ttc, happens to land on my youngest ds birthday, July 4th! I will be switching from one attempt at + opk to that and every 4 days after as my cycles have been changing from the diet! Hope everyone sends us some pink dust!

I responded to this yesterday, but for some reason it didn't go through. Argh! My first attempt will be in 4-5 days depending on when I get my positive opk. Not quite July, but close enough. ;)

Boysboys, I'll be using Acijel personally. I don't believe in ph swaying, but I think if it'll help make it "harder" to get pregnant then that works for me. Good luck, ladies.

I'm joining you. TTC officially begins once AF shows but I won't O until July. I am hoping for early July but I am not holding my breath as my cycles are on the longer side, unfortunately. My TCOYF software is forecasting O on July 8th, but I don't see that happening but you never know. Hoping Clomid will make O sooner though. The clomid calculator says "If you take Clomid for 5 days from 06/21/2015 to 06/25/2015, you would expect to ovulate between 06/30/2015 and 07/05/2015.". I guess we'll see. It'd be awesome if I could get a BFP on my b-day, but I'd have to O by the 2nd, which would be CD 14 and I've never O'd that early... EVER. A girl can dream though, right? :giggle:

:fx: and http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i300/poetry_princess1983/Blinkies%20made%20by%20me/Vibes%20and%20Dust/dirtpink.gif for all of us!

My cycles mucked up since starting the diet and exercise. I usually have a 30 day cycle and ovulate day 16/17 but my body gets messed up with stress or diet so i had a 38 day cycle this month! Bit of a pain but i hope its back to normal now.

I'm going to join you ladies! This is our 3rd month TTC for baby #2. I'm dropping RePhresh and Zyrtec this month but I'll continue with the LE diet (which I'm not very good at sticking to because I'm already too thin) and we'll plan for one attempt in the fertile window by BDing every 4 days. DH and I are both doing a hot bath before BD, avoiding the big O for me, and DH has been wearing tighty whities. So not the strongest sway but my lifestyle is very very boy friendly so I'm hoping that it will be enough to sway girl.

Boysboysboys - our attempt will likely be July 4th too! Based on the past few months I should O around CD 18/19, which would be July 5th or 6th. What is your plan for BDing? We're trying to do the every 4 days, leaving us with one attempt in the fertile window.

Unfortunately, I have long cycles too! It was consistently 31-33 days this past month it was 37 days!!!!ugh that makes for a long month and makes you really want to get preggo so you don't have to wait FOREVER to try again. I'm really going to TRY to be patient and stick to my sway even if it doesn't happen first month. Both of my boys were conceived first month so that spoils you!!

I am doing one attempt shortly after first positive OPK. We usually BD every 4-5 days naturally so basically the same thing. With both of my boys I had 3-4 attempts so maybe this will be a good change along with my other sway tactics.

I've got the blues
June 19th, 2015, 12:38 PM
I have been using acijel as well! The smalles amount though, about a pea size an hr before BD! If I don't get a BFP in July I will drop it from my sway as this will be my 5th attempt. Can't see that small amount killing ALL the sperm though?!

I've got the blues
June 19th, 2015, 12:45 PM
As for the long cycles, before I started they were always 27 days long then for 4 months (3 cycles) they went to 38-39 days long! Figure it was a good thing as my body can sense all the changes and making me know it. Atomic said they might go back to normal and low and behold 3 days after she said it AF decided to show up on day 30! Crazy how much she knows;). So your cycles can still go back to the way they were!

I feel you on that! When trying for my DS, one of my cycles was 53 days long! My cycles are still right around 30 days now because I have a short LP (10/11 days). It's definitely hard to stick with the sway, I'm already wanting to just DTD everyday to up our chances of getting pregnant and if we don't get our BFP in July or August, we're definitely going to increase our number of attempts, as I don't want DS to be too much older than baby #2.

Pinkin we should ovulate around the same time (29th-30th June). My cycles are naturally quite long too at around 33-34 days so I know how difficult the long wait is for the next attempt.

I'm struggling with the diet today too. I had cake at work earlier and then peanuts after work so that's 2 high fat/calorie snacks today. I'm finding the easiest part missing breakfast.

Is anyone else concerned about a lack of ewcm? I have had BV also before ovulation the last 2 months which I never get.

I'm not using any lubes as I figured it would reduce the chance of BFP too much. Sticking with one attempt and diet. I conceived my ds with multiple attempts.

Time goes so slowly when you are Ttc!

Yaybaby I've also been tempted to dtd more than once. I think when you know you're ovulating it feels like you're missing chances of BFP so you feel more pressured. I'm going to stick with one bd this cycle and then maybe increase it a bit next cycle although it scares me to

I know, I just keep thinking if we got at least 2 attempts in, I'll be more likely to get that BFP! I think we're pretty similar right now, July will be your third TTC month right? And it sounds like you're doing the diet and doing one attempt? That's our plan for this month (we did a few other sway tactics the last 2 months but I'm dropping them this month). Time definitely moves slowly when you're TTC! Waiting for a + opk, waiting to test, waiting for AF after your BFNs. Ughhhh.

YayBaby- I know what you mean! I did it for years TTC my second! I already know it is going to be a struggle not to BD like bunnies around O. After years of secondary infertility it is my instinct to hose that egg until it needs a life vest, lol. AF hasn't even shown yet and I am already getting anxious. We aren't technically doing one attempt, per say, we are doing every 4 days on atomic's advice (taking clomid and such). Yet I keep thinking "what if we BD and everything dies and we don't BD again (4 days later) until it's too late. Think I may need to take my anxiety meds in the days leading up to O to keep from panicking and trying to "squeeze one in" lol. Hmm.. antidepressants sway.. wonder if anti-anxiety meds do?!

Boysboys
June 19th, 2015, 09:10 PM
Wow! All of my friends are blessed with 28 day cycles so I've always felt like the odd ball!lol The cycle I got pregnant with my second son was 51 days!! So that of course made me BD several times! Yes, the every 4 days made me feel like I might miss the egg so that's why I'm thinking one attempt right after positive opk.

I'm already feeling bloated and crampy and only on day 11 of my cycle?! I usually do not start testing until day 18-20. I went ahead and tested just to name sure! This last cycle (37 days) has screwed up my plan so wonder if I will ovulate sooner?? Oh my word!! This is too much!haha

My CM is usually pretty heavy around O so I'm anxious to see what the Zyrtec does. We plan on using sylk as a lube but hubby hates it! Hoping I can sneak it in there and he will never know!lol We used preseed with both boys so changing that this attempt as well.

So you ladies are doing diet/exercise, One attempt, what else?? (Yall may have discussed alread but I read so much I forget what I've read!)

I enjoy chatting with you girls. As much anxiety I sometimes have, a big part of me enjoys all of this researching and discussions!

I am doing the LE... with a twist (I have PCOS so steering towards whole grains instead of simple carbs) & exercise 60 mins 6x a week. Not really doing much in the way of supps. I am taking potassium(doesn't sway, I don't think) to help make sure I get enough, taking baby aspirin (not sure if this sways) to help plush up my lining after recent D&C and to hlep a bean attach as I'll also be taking clomid (50 mg CD 3-7; sways pink) which can thin the uterine lining. I am taking a large dose of folic acid due to 2 losses and it's always good to take folic if you are trying to get preg anyway. I am taking iron (not sure on sway) because I had a lot of bleeding after my D&C and getting ready for my first PP AF (which I hear can be awful after a D&C) so I want to make sure my iron levels don't plummet. I am also taking zantac for GERD and I am told it sways too. DH is taking OLE 500 mg/day.

No, that is what I am doing now... to sway pink. With my first and third boy I was 100% unmedicated. With my second boy I was like 25-50% medicated. I took clomid the cycle before we conceived. It was a break cycle cause I had this weird double period thing happen, so do told me to take the cycle off and try again the next, There was still enough clomid in my system to make me ovulate that cycle (I didn't O on my own typically back then) and we got a surprise BFP on a *technically* unmedicated cycle. I am taking clomid this time to hopefully make me O earlier, improve egg quality and of course to sway pink :)

Oh great!

This may sound stupid, but with my super long, irregular cycles I've always wondered if I have pcos?? I get pregnant easily, but 33-37 (41-51 day cycles while TTC my second) that is not normal!

I get pregnant easily so I've never worried over it or mentioned it to my dr... I'm sure symptoms vary with every person, but what were some other symptoms you have?

If long cycles are your only issue then you are probably fine, esp if you get preg easily. For me, what told me something was wrong is I had cycles that went on for months... sometimes a year or more and I basically ovulated on my own 1-2x a year AT BEST. I also started growing "male pattern" hair growth (hair in the wrong places. Creased skin areas (armpit, groin, etc.) were dark in pigment, noticeably darker. I would shave my pits and they still looked like I hadn't in the mirror. O have lots of skin tags (another wonderful sign). I had acne so bad I looked like a pubescent teenager. Basically, if there is an outwardly visible sign I had it. When I finally got tested my ovaries had cysts galore and my hormones were all over the place.

Chart wise... my chart was a hot mess. After awhile I quit charting after a certain point otherwise FF would not show my chart and just say it was too long to display. I wouldn't O after a certain point anyway, so there was no point in continuing. Here is a prime example. I quit charting after awhile until I could force AF and start a new cycle.

Just speed reading through but I'm with you ladies for estimated O time of the every end of June :)
I'm emotionally unsettled today with "worrying" about my diet/cardio (as i mentioned in other threads), but I'm pretty excited to give it a whirl again his month regardless of outcome.
I am doing every 4 days, but I'm going to probably cut that and just make the go at pos opk, and then do the every 4 days after thing plan.

I have recently lost down to my wedding weight after DS2 which dropped about 20 pounds from my weight BEFore I got pregnant with him. I've been eating 1200-1500 calories a day BUT I've been eating just anything I want until I reach my calorie goal. Not girl friendly food, so that worries me!

I walk about 30-45 min 3 times a week. I don't think that's enough either. I'm TRYING to walk everyday these next 2 weeks before its GO TIME. I really wish I would've been better about exercise though.

My husband and I naturally BD every 3-4 days but I'm not making sure of it. I plan to BD RIGHT after my positive OPK which is usually in the a.m. And we will be on vacation so hubby will be home. (If I ovulate as planned of course... That could def be screwed up) with both of my boys we BD before and after positive OPK bc I'm a planner and HAD to get pregnant THAT month!lol I'm trying my hardest to stay away from that mindset and stick to my plan. Clomid makes me crazy. It makes me emotional -
Moody overall. I'm feeling sorry for myself for why? Bc my sway isn't "perfect"? Oi. I have my head on straight and yes, I'd like to keep making changes and tweaks but I shouldn't be too upset about my efforts.

Hitme- I take it you are taking clomid now? What day are you on? I don't remember a lot about how I felt on clomid when I was on it years ago. I remember I had hot flashes that made me feel like my hair was on fire... and I remember being a bit more on edge than usual, but I don't remember anything else. I start my doses tomorrow (CD 3).

My diet is far from perfect but atomic says better is still a sway, and honestly, I don't think anyone could do it perfectly. Like you said, you shouldn't be upset about your efforts. Do the best you can and the rest is up to God (or the universe, or fate, or whatever you believe in).

twointow83- I swear, I have the same anxiety issues! It seems to be getting better as the months go on though, at first I was so anxious about getting my sway and diet exactly right but now I have relaxed a bit with all of that. Is this your first month TTC for baby #3?

Boysboys- One attempt at positive opk sounds like a good plan. I wanted to do the same but it seems that sometimes I O on the day of my first positive so I worry that I'll miss the window with that plan. As for my sway plan, I'm just doing diet, one attempt in fertile window, jump & dump (although might drop that this month), hot baths before BD, and some of the negative ion stuff. I was doing RePhresh and Zyrtec as well but dropping that this month. DH has also been modifying his diet - limited red meat, less caffeine the week of O, and he's been wearing whitie tighties. I'm not great at the diet, I can't go too low on fat and calories because I'm already too thin. So mainly skipping breakfast and snacks, avoiding red meat, and choosing vegetarian meals and low-nutrient options as often as possible. It's still definitely a huge change from my normal diet, which is VERY boy-friendly. I enjoy chatting with you ladies too, helps to keep some sanity during this TTC stuff!

hitme- Sending hugs! I can assure you that NONE of us have perfect sways. It looks like you O before the rest of us, hopefully you'll be the first BFP for July! :)

Uh, yes and no... It may sound weird to you but I count my losses too. Unless I am filling out something legal or something like that, I currently have 4 kids working on #5. It just feels wrong, to me, not to count them. I just don't get the privileged of watching 2 of them grow up. But yes, this is my first month TTC what will, hopefully, be our 3rd living child.

That makes perfect sense and I'm so sorry for your losses! So I wish you a speedy BFP in your journey to TTC #5 :)

I feel like I may ovulate the day get positive as well!ugh BUT I've promised myself to give it a shot anyway. With my boys I BD before, day of positive (twice with DS2) AND the day after. So I'm REALLY going to try one attempt.

I'm also concerned ab rephresh and Zyrtec being too much and killing all the spermies. But again, I'm going to try for a month (maybe 2)

Let me ask you ladies, both of my boys were conceived doggie style (tmi). My husband has a really difficult time getting off missionary (strange, not sure why!lol) we have been BD a lot me on top. I know I've heard girls on here get pregnant like that but I just don't know how that is even possible (ESPECIALLY using rephresh, one attempt, sulk, and Zyrtec)!?!? Do yall think I should stick to doggie style and pray the others tactics are enough OR should I try one month me on top?? (My husband would absolutely DIE if he knew just put all this out there!hahaha) opinions??

They say shallow penetration is good for girl, so do which ever is more shallow to you. I don't go by what others say as far as positions because I swear, every position I have ever been told is "shallow" are the ones that hubby and I get the deepest with. So just DTD and figure out which is better for you to get shallow penetration with and go with that.

ETA: The main thing is hubby has to "get there".... no seed=no fruit ;)

I think during the months you're using all of those other sway tactics (RePhresh, Zyrtec, Sylk, etc), I would probably just go for doggie-style. I think the other tactics would be plenty enough to sway pink.

Well girls... I've heard atomic mention several times on here the month you try will not go as planned. I'm proof. I mentioned my cycle this month was 37 days (I usually have a 31-33 day cycle. Ovulate days 21 on.

This morning I took my OPK. Forgot to even check it and went for my morning walk. This evening I take a look at it and it's positive. FROM THIS MORNING! Went ahead to confirm it with a digital AND its def positive. DAY 14!! What in the world.

I didn't even have time to take Zyrtec. Heck haven't even bought it!! I didn't rephresh 10 hours before like I planned. Nothing!!!:omg:

I frantically cracked open my rephresh and inserted a fingertip. We used sylk as lube. I was on top and flipped onto my back for maybe 2 mins and stood up. I waited about 5 min and inserted the rest of the tube of rephresh.

Maybe what I've been doing the last couple of months is enough, on top of exercise and drastic weight loss. I only ate 1100 calories today not meaning to.

Who knows if anything made it or not anyway or I prob killed them all!lol

I still can't bekieve I ovulated so early!! Mind blown.

Oh wow! Were you on clomid with your boys?? That's huge for pink!

I was on clomid with my boy too.

I'm joining in ladies cd2 and my first day of clomid (2-6) this will be my 4th cycle.
