View Full Version : When do you stop reading about swaying?

I know that title is a bit wonky... But here's my question... When do you stop reading details about swaying? I feel like I've read so much my brain might explode ;) I think I get it and then a new post will pop up and I'm like hm, never thought of that before. Haha. My plan is pretty much what I understand swaying to be - le diet, fiber, antihistamine as needed (I have lots of ewcm), exercise, one attempt.

So... Is it wise to just stick with my plan and stop reading about it? I know that might sound a little cray cray, but I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed and discouraged thinking that I'm stuck in boy mode, and the last thing I want to do is obsess. Thanks in advance.

Btw, y'all are some of the nicest people I've ever interacted with on a forum! Xo

I know how you feel! I was definitely like that for a while. I've been here for a year now and I think I finally get most of it.
Your sway sounds great. When are you starting?

It sounds like now is a good time to stop reading :) If you have your plan sorted then just go with it and relax as much as you can, it it will help your sway much more being relaxed than adding anything new in.

It is all pretty overwhelming but there are lots of successful sways on here that give hope, especially some women who have had 3 or 4 boys and then a girl. They were obviously in boy mode but managed to sway so we can too :)

From what I have read, I think diet, one attemt, exercise seem to be the most important factors. I'm making those my main sway factors. And will maybe throw in a supplmement or 2.

I've been on the diet off and on since the beginning of May, but plan to start hardcore mid-June after my cruise :) I will probably start TTC in Sept, possibly August if I ovulate later. What about you, covered in blue?

Dreamingofpink, yeah, I guess the diet stuff is what gets me the most. I don't eat a lot of meat anyway, but I'm just never quite sure if I'm eating the best things. Lots of white carbs and sugar! What supps are you planning to do? Can't decide on those.

I'm just starting my 2nd month of TTC. I'm just doing diet, fiber, exercise, alcohol, and 1 attempt at positive OPK. I'm not doing anything that will cut odds of conception much as my bmi is already very low and I can't afford to loose anything more. DH is doing exercise and OLE.
Good luck! August/September will roll around b4 u know it!

Oh I forgot I also did jump and dump at 5 mins last month but will leave it longer this month. Maybe 15 mins :)

With my DD with our attempt at +OPK I laid there and visualized my baby girl for a long time. So however long you lay there think about your future daughter you are trying to conceive. I did that and then got up to put on my - ion bracelet (I believe in those! you can also get a rock salt lamp) and laid back down to sleep! :) Jumping and dumping got me DS#2.

As far in advance of a sway as is possible.

Yep. If you can set it and forget it it takes the stress out. Not to say questions won't arise; and they likely will, but at least you won't be reading and questioning your decisions.

Munky - I'm still debating. I've started the diet and exercise. I'm thinking fpof just doing the folate and vitex and that's it.
