View Full Version : Exercise for Girl Sway- When to start?

Hello! I have a question- I am trying to sway girl in about 6 weeks. I've been on the diet for a few weeks now and I want to add exercise. Well, I don't "want" to, but I can't ignore the success stories that I've read for exercising and successful girl sways. I'm wondering, though, how early should I start exercising? I was going to wait until 2 weeks before our first attempt, to try to trick my body into thinking that times are tough, but would I be better off starting now (at 6 weeks before attempt)?
Thanks!

Really need to start cardio ASAP. Your body will have a rise in testosterone to start with which will lower once the weeks go on. Can't remember how long you should do cardio for before ttc pink, though. Maybe one of the other lovely ladies can help out here x

Thanks for your reply, bunnywabbit! I didn't know about the rise in testosterone triggered by exercise. Maybe I should just start now. I was worried that my body would get used to it then it wouldn't be a change- and possibly wouldn't work to sway pink. But maybe I was just trying to rationalize my laziness, haha.

6 weeks. 2 weeks is not enough and your T levels can actually go up a bit at the start.
The idea of tricking our bodies at the last minute hasn't worked. Slow and steady wins the race

That makes me second guess my cardio efforts. I've had too many longer stretches (2 separate periods of one week off). Usually is no more than 2 or 3 day in a row though. Idk if that could raise T also?

Thanks Atomic! One more question- I don't see myself being able to keep up with 60 min of running a day. Is brisk walking enough?

Walking is fine! Or so I've read on other threads. It's the 60 minutes of exercising that is important. (Again, from what I've read on other threads, I'm new and I've been doing the hour cardio for a couple weeks.)

I am planning to start ttc Sept 2016 and had planned to start 1 hr of exercise (elliptical) 6 days a week in May or early June of that year. Not sure if that is ideal either so I'm also looking for advice. That would be about 12 weeks before attempt...
