Yes, it def sways pink and I know of a few people who've had success doing it. But it should be a part of a larger sway (ain't no getting around that awful diet!!!)

Yep I used it for my girl sway and conceived a girl. Like atomic said, it definitely sways girl but it had to be part of a larger sway. Especially combined with diet. I use it as a lube. I've seen many girls have success with sylk. It helps with conception and to sway girl. Even if it raises ur ph ny a tiny bit dont worry. I would still use it. Next time I will use it as a finger sylk before my tbm attempt

Awesome, thanks! I have been getting used to adjusting to the diet. I plan on starting TTC Oct or Nov, so I'm thinking by then my body should be pretty good and adjusted to the supps and diet.

I tried Sylk and it definitely didn't work for me! it didn't just raise my ph "a little bit" it made my ph shoot through the roof :( before using sylk it was a low 4 and after using it was a high 6/low 7.I found that when i used a fingertip of aci gel an hour before bd that i then wouldn't need to use additional lube as it lubricated everything just fine (sorry tmi!!)

Oh no!! that stinks. I was trying to avoid having to shell out the $$ for a digital ph tester because the strips don't work for me. I guess I'll have to get one to know if the sylk is adversely affecting me. thanks for the heads up!

Well, sometimes when you use something for the first few times, your body is like, "WTH??" and shoots out some high pH mucus to try and wash it away. It's always best to use something several times before you decide it won't work for you, because you do get used to things over the course of time.
Thanks for the tip on the Acijel, I didn't know that had good lube properties!

Good point, it might have been that.. I did try it a few times to make sure because i thought it was odd how my ph could just shoot up like that.. neither replens, rephresh nor aci gel had the same negative effect as sylk though.

Can Sylk be used if you are using anything else e.g. if using rephresh morning of attempt (doing a cut off) and you used sylk when dtd that evening?

Yes, but be sure to do a trial run in advance of your attempt just to make sure your pH reacts the way you want it to.

What is the pH of Sylk?
Sylk has a pH balance of 4.5 - 4.7, similar to the normal vaginal environment, i.e. slightly acidic. This is deliberate to keep the vagina healthy and not alter the balance. Sylk is not intended as a spermicide however, its pH balance (like most other lubricants) can affect motility, the movement of sperm and therefore should not be used if you're trying to conceive. When ovulation occurs, the pH balance in the vagina changes to around 7 which is a neutral pH state when pregnancy can occur.
Basically what we want right?

Yes ma'am! Thanks for posting that!
I do know of at least ONE sway where I was sure, on basis of personality, a particular person was going to have a boy. But she used Sylk and got a girl. I don't think anything is a magic bullet, but she was one of the first who dared to use Sylk and it def. worked out for her.

I am so happy to hear that because I used sylk on all my attempts. I was worried about the testosterone - even though I did as much to lower it as I could my elder son was driving me mad!! I tried soooo hard to be calm and ignore most of it but as he's slightly ADHD there were moments I would loose my cool and get mad and then burst into tears haha

I conceived with it. Don't know the gender yet, though.
