Is it normal?! I read you can have an 'after ovulation oestrogen surge' 4 or 5 dpo but I've had EWCM literally every time I've checked over the past week or more! I'm now 9dpo and I still have it. I've taken OPKs and HPTs (even though we didn't even DTD unprotected this month!) but they're all completely negative. I have noticed that I have more of a smell 'down there'. Not a big or bad one but I've noticed no scent at all since I've been on the girl diet - could I have a bit of an infection?
This is the first month I've continued to take both Vitex and Saw P after O - could that be it?

hmm, i had that this month for the first time too, around 9dpo. I'm not on saw p but i did take vitex before o. I tested today an it was a bfn. Our bodies are so weird!

Aren't they just! I was quite confident I was getting to know what it was up to too!

I do think it's the vitex and SP and I wouldn't worry about it.

Great, thanks! (Although shouldn't I have less and not more EWCM?!)

If you're suppressing T production, your body ~may~ make more E with the available resources. Blue swayers seemed to be experiencing the exact opposite phenom...they tried to up their T production with supps and found that their EWCM totally dried up!! It seems to me that the SP is suppressing T and then the vitex is trying to keep things fertile by upping the estrogen a bit.
It's actually kinda GOOD to have a little estrogen in the LP, believe it or not, because your body is trying to make a nice lining for a bean to implant in. And sometimes when you sway pink, you can reduce E to the point where your lining maybe isn't as nice. So it may be the best of all possible worlds...you're making less T (and really, less E as well) but your body is still trying to stay fertile.

Cool - and of course I'll be doing other things to counteract the EWCM around O time.

Ooh, one more thing, I've been getting very mild cramping on each side during this LP (both sides). I don't think I'd notice if I wasn't tuned into these things at this time. Could that be related?

This has been such a weird LP for me. As well as the EWCM and cramping (which has continued), I've had raging PMT (which I do not usually suffer from) and now today, the day before AF is due, I've felt nauseous all day and this morning when I brushed my hair loads of it fell out. This is not unusual for me (and luckily I have lots of hair and don't miss it!) but it had stopped recently. Any thoughts from a hormonal perspective please?

It could be, although sometimes I think we pick up on things when swaying that have happened a bazillion other times and we just didn't notice them.

Both PMT and nausea with PMT are linked to hormone fluctuations and that is to be expected when swaying. I'm sorry, I know it sucks!!! Doctors don't actually know WHY people get PMT but fluctuations in levels of progesterone and estrogen are both suggested as possible causes.
Hair loss can come from losing weight and it too is fairly normal and something a lot of swayers experience.

Thank you. Today (first day of AF) I had a migraine and the only time I've ever had one before was during a teenage period. What a thoroughly s**t week!
