I'm on cd 16 and almost pos opk. I have OODLES of ewcm... I'm on Clomid so I thought I wouldn't get much or any (esp with LE?)
I never planned to take anything but should I? What's the recommended course o action here?

I don't recommend taking anything in your case Hitme. For a variety of reasons - age, time constraints, being on Clomid, etc.

If you MUST take something, one antihistamine 6 hours before attempt (Cetirizine)

The EWCM is just a theory. we don't even know it works. I got my 4th boy with no visible EWCM and my girl with some.

I have desloratadine on hand. Same deal? For seasonal allergies. I have sooo much!

And I'll heed the warning. Our "scheduled attempt" would be sat, but I think my opk will turn pos before then, putting my last attempt at 0-4 I guess....

The reason I recommend cetirizine and diphenhydramine is that I have personally tried them and know they dry up my CM. All antihistamines are supposed to , but I can only recommend the ones I have firsthand experience wiht.

Then throw that out the window and have one more attempt at positive OPK. You HAVE GOT to stay flexible if the cards fall in such a way that you are going to have very low odds of conception.

Ok, it's just so hard to ignore the one attempt; but I am pretty sure it will be tomorrow that I get the pos opk. I tested 4 hrs after the last one and its neg, and lighter even.
So if I get a pos tomorrow then tomorrow is bd time.

Yeah you have to be willing to bend hte rules in certain scenarios and this is one of those times. :)
