I have been on the LE diet for a year now. I lost weight in the beginning but stayed at 105lbs since the beginning of this year. I conceived my oldest at 104lbs. but I really would rather not get to that weight, since I am 5'7". My cycle is random, but it has always been that way. The main difference is my periods are much lighter. I went from having heavy periods that lasted 10 days to light periods that last 3 days.
I was loosely trying to conceive starting September last year- we dtd CD 14 and 17. I started to do opks in February and I get a positive opk CD 17, so I wasn't too far off with my timing back in September. I'm just starting to get a little worried because with my last four pregnancies I got pregnant the very first try. I have never struggle to conceive before.
I eat 2000-2200 calories a day 60g of fat and 50g of protein (I upped the fat up a bit to see if that would help). I have maintained my weight for the last 6 months, even with exercising an hour a day. I don't know what else to try? I have easily gotten pregnant before at less than what I weigh now so I don't understand what is happening. What should I change or add to my sway to help me get pregnant? I take folate and vitamin D (I am very deficient in vitamin D so I have to take it). Help!!

Time to see a dr and get Clomid or Femara! I'd get your hormones checked on CD3, too if possible. Personally I'd eat less fat, try 40g max, and mostly pink friendly fats, but eat enough cals to maintain your weight. I'd consider cardio too, adding more cals as needed. I'd BD every 3 days ALL cycle long, skipping only AF if you don't like BD then. That will improve sperm health and boost odds of conception as well as assuring you don't miss O. I think it is quite likely you've just had bad timing and missed O most cycles if your cycles are as variable as you say, plus you haven't been charting or even consistently OPKing. Fortunately eith BD every 3 days you don't need to worry about any of tgat.

I'd get your iron (both heme and ferritin) levels checked too.

What about Dh? Has he had a SA done? I think maiden is right, go hit the doc up for th meds and get the bw, but maybe send Dh in too.

After that long I would see a doctor.

I too would bd all cycle long as perhaps you are missing the boat and stopping too early. Every 4 days right the way through .

I agree it's time for a visit to a doctor and be sure yo mention that you have conceived at your present weight before (otherwise they'll assume it's your weight when it may not be.)

Cut back to 4 days a week exercise.

Would you be willing to add in Preseed or Robi/Muci???

Def. encourage the SA, even if you and he do not think he needs it. Of the ladies who have had trouble conceiving, 9 of 10 of them later found out it was their husband, and we spent all this time doing all this LE Diet adjusting but it was the hubby all along.

Keep me posted Kitty, don't worry about bothering me because I have lots of tricks up my sleeve for this issue. Do encourage the SA though. :)
