Hello!

Any advice or insight is greatly appreciated! I've recently been receiving Lipofast Injections at my doctor's office. Lipofast Injections are a combination of vitamins B6, B12, Choline, Inositol, and Methionine. While I've been told it's perfectly safe for TTC and I was taking them for a little energy boost (I have a 12 month old boy/no sway), I'm wondering if they would affect my chances of swaying for a boy. Any insight anyone can provide about the vitamins listed or Lipofast injections would be greatly appreciated! THANK YOU!!! Very time sensitive, as I have an appointment this week that I'm thinking about canceling. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

Those sound good for a boy sway! How much inositol and what isomer?

Inositol may be a teensy bit pink but everything else in there would be blue friendly. I think it's fine to get them, just be sure you are eating 3 meals a day nd 2-5 snacks while you are taking them to help keep your blood sugar in a good range. :)

I LOVE that you're saying for a second little man!!!

That's the problem, I don't really know and I'm a little freaked out since the OPK turned positive today earlier than expected! :baby: This is from my doctors website:

Inositol

Deficiency of Inositol can lead to hair loss. It works the Vitamin E to facilitate its actions in the treatment of Muscular Dystrophy. It is used in nerve and muscle disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis and Cerebral Palsy. Caffeine may cause depletion of Inositol.

I do drink quite a bit of caffeine.

Thank you for your response. Again, any and all insight is greatly appreciated!

Well, what it REALLY does and why it's in that injection is because it can help lower blood sugar (aiding weight loss) and also in turn lowers testosterone (because people with high blood sugar can also have higher testosterone than is normal). This may not be good for a blue sway, BUT as long as you are eating regular meals/snacks your blood sugar should not be overly affected.

Does your doctor know you are planning to TTC???

Do you normally have very long cycles or irregular?? I wonder if the inositol has shortened your cycle this month (you may have higher T levels and blood sugar naturally like many of us blue moms do)
