Dreaming Pink: I'm sure lots of women can relate! I've been TTC quite a bit longer so I no longer feel that way. Something which helps me though is remembering a lot still comes down to chance. I mean there are women who do a perfect sway and still get an opposite (as atomic says even a perfect sway only brings your odds up to 60-70%-not sure about the exact percentages) and even the worst sway still has a chance of producing the DG. In the end unless you are doing HT you have to be able to accept that :)

Pbn3- I still see a faint line. It is still so early that I'm not worried at all, and think by 10DPO or 12DPO at the latest we will be seeing a nice dark 2nd line.

Twointow- good luck testing! I think it is cute how much fun you have with all of this :)

yay for temp spike!!! I bought some more frers today (hubby not happy lol) and tested again about half an hour ago and was stark white lol. Hopefully fx ds2 will sleep through to normal time tonight. Hoping the dip in my temp is just because it was taken just b4 five am instead of 6-6.30 like the ones b4 it :( so you'll test again tomorrow morning???

Wide awake and nothing to do so I decided to play around with FF. Not that it means anything, (I have had other charts where I could have said the same... mostly just killing time) but my temps this cycle are definitely in preg territory..

I can't really compare mine properly as I changed from oral to vaginal temping so my temps are higher all cycle now.

Yeah, that makes it tough. I remember when I switched that I had the same issue. I temped vag and oral to see how big a diff it would make... don't know if it was accurate and don't remember how much but it sufficed until I got a couple new charts under my belt. I see you are still temping :bigsmile: I do the same thing lol. Most ppl seem to stop as soon as they get their BFP but not me lol. How long do you plan to keep temping?

:giggle: "maybe" :giggle: If it is causing you anxiety it might be best to nix it. I tend to temp for awhile out of sheer curiosity. And I can't speak toward very early losses but I can say that once a preg is firmly established, I haven't noticed a drop in temps before I was aware of the loss. To be fair, my first loss I wasn't temping before and I didn't start up again until nearly 2 weeks after, and with my second I wasn't temping anymore when I lost her but my temps where still on the high end when I started temping the following cycle. If satisfying curiosity is your goal, go for it! But if it is creating feelings of fear it is probably best to let it go. Your call, obviously, just my :twocents:

Oh, this just occurred to me... If you are VIP (paid) on FF and can do the chart overlays then you can pin the charts at "ovulation and coverline" That should remove the oral v vag difference in temps!!

Wow! Those are really similar! I bet if you were to keep temping you'd see a shift like on your Nov 09 temps. Then again not everyone goes triphasic with every preg so if you decide to keep temping and your temps stay about where they are now I wouldn't stress about it :)

I'm about 10dpo (going by symptoms, not OPK). Tested & got BFN. I've gotten a positive before AF was due before, but my cycle has been so bizarre since it came back after my youngest & even more bizarre the last few months, I have no idea what's up.

I had about 3 days of being nauseous when I woke up & for a couple hours around bed time.

I never get nauseous so I have no clue what that's all about. It seemed to disappear for 2 days but might be back again.

Other info of note: I had acupuncture on 7/10 and on 7/19 I was sure af was coming soon so I started taking 1 capsule of Flexsure. It contains maca as the main ingredient, also cat's claw (which I was on for Lyme when dd was conceived) and boswellia (frankincense). Honestly, I've felt great since I started it, much more energetic and in a good mood. My chest has been very sore since the acupuncture but is only slightly sore now. I'll need to stop taking this stuff if I have a bfp, but I'm hanging in limbo. What do you think? What would you do? I was taking much more cat's claw and other herbs with dd and weaned off of them by the time we were a week after af was due. They started to make me feel sick so I knew it was time to stop. I tried muscle testing with the Flexsure this morning and it was strong, so I took it today.

Last month I did only E3D and didn't get preggers. I'm thinking the tubal reversal is making it more difficult for me to get pregnant. It makes me just want to flood everything with swimmers, lol!!

Symptoms can be very inaccurate. Based on symptoms I was sure I had O'd days before I actually did. What I thought was O based on some extreme cramping turned out to be nothing then I got a +OPK days later and had some cramping on O day but nothing compared to when I thought I had O'd. You may have O'd later than you think. Hang in there!

I tend to disagree with FF. I actually think you O'd on CD 16! O on CD 16 would make you 11 DPO not 14 DPO. It is not impossible to go either way at 11 DPO. AF could be on it's way, or you could just be waiting for a BFP to pop up. You only have one other chart available to view... what is your normal LP?

The longer you lay there the less comes out, so laying there all night you'd have very little come out. I also lay there for about 5 mins with my hips propped too and still lose a lot when I get up. I CAN vouch the J&D doesn't prevent conception though. With my oldest I laid there for about 2 mins before getting up and moving on to other things.... though back then it wasn't unusual for us to BD a couple times a day. With my girl, I J&D without even thinking about it... I had to use the restroom. So, try not to stress out :D

Thanks :fingers: you are right, but I have been fooled too many times before... I actually have a very similar chart from a few years back that kept climbing and climbing and ended in AF, right on time! I'll get a screen shot and edit this post to add it so you can see what I mean.

Have you tried talking to atomic? Maybe there is a way to improve you odds of conception without completely destroying all the work you have put into the sway... :fx: for you this cycle!

ETA: Ok, this is an overlay of the chart I mentioned. It had me fooled 6 ways to Sunday. I pinned at O and CL because I am not 100% but I believe I was still temping orally back then.

Yeah!!!!!!! This is the earliest a got a positive OPK in a while. I am CD14 today, June was CD17, and May was CD19. Maybe all the vitamins/supplements are working. DH showers in the evening, will this hurt the blue sway or should I try and catch him beforehand?

Can you ladies please help me and give me you input.
I just took a opk for the heck of it on cd6 and this is what I got. I'm currently on 5 mg femara.
I never get an opk this dark this early. I got one like this last cycle on cycle day 12 or 13 and went in for my trigger.

Can I trust this?
I don't have any other signs as far as ovulation pain and CM goes and I usually do.

If Femara is anything like clomid you can't start taking OPKs until several days after last dose (3 days in the case of clomid).

Yes Two and Momamia, I agree you might think cd 16 based on the chart, but after doing this since March 2014, I know that ff's forcasted o day is usually right even when I disagreee with their crosshairs. This month's forecast was cd 14. My temp really went up after this month's acupuncture. I've been having acupuncture treatments for fertility since Feb. And my usual lp length is af on 12dpo although it was longer before dd.

My doc didn't tell me either (about clomid). CD 6 would be EXTREMELY early for O. My guess is you are picking up on femara effects not O... but you could always DTD if it does become truly positive just to be safe.

Hey all - went away for the weekend and can barely keep up with what's been happening!
I'm trying to keep myself low key bc Im not exactly sure when I ovulated. We had our attempt on Friday and I think I got my positive on sat so hopefully that did the trick. It's hard to keep track of things when away! I took my temp my my 15month old slept horribly on the trip so I can't even fully rely on those. It does look like I got a temp dip and with my symptoms I'm certain ovulation has happened by now though - just waiting for the temp spike and then waiting til I can start poas lol.

I'm not sure if I see something or not... On one of the inverse pics it looks like there is a line but when I look at the original it looks like it could be a shadow... squinter lines are so hard to get on cam. Have you tried taking it apart? The strip the paper is on is clear so light can get through making it easier to see if you are imagining things or not. They say not to do it but I do it all the time, lol. I'm old and my eyes aren't so good lol. ;)

I'll try that I don't think I see anything now :( And my chart is doing my head in!!! I've never had one like this? Temp seems to be holding steady and not rising so not a good sign. But then my temp doesn't seem to normally reach where it is either?

Even if you don't see anything it doesn't mean you are out. I have only ever gotten a BFP at 8 DPO once and that chart (if I am thinking of the right one) I am not 100% on the day I O'd. I always try to keep it in my head that anything before 10 DPO is just for fun because it is unlikely to get a BFP before then... even 10 DPO is early considering some may not implant until like 9-10 DPO. For example, I am thinking *IF* I did have implantation, it prob didn't happen until yesterday because yesterday I was one crampin' momma! Whoa Nelly was I cramping like crazy yesterday! Cramps in both my abdomen and my back... and not like AF either. Way pinchier!!So, assuming that is the case I couldn't possibly hope to get a BFP before 9 DPO and even 9 DPO would be pushing it. So try not to get down on yourself. As far as your temps, my temps frequently fool me. My temps last cycle looked REALLY good for preg and there wasn't even a chance. With my youngest's chart I thought for sure it was a no-go. My temps just hovered on the CL until AFTER I got a BFP, and DS #2's chart wasn't much better! My point is that the best looking chart in the world can end in AF and a chart that looks doomed can be "the one". It is fun to say "Oh! Your temps look GREAT!" but in the end our temps don't tell the whole story. HTH.

Nope. Not yet. None that I can use anyway. Most of my ideas require me to wait (like for an u/s for example) and I am just not that patient lol. How about you? Have you come up with any plans to surprise your Dh yet?

The 2 most obvious things have been the cramps the last couple days and the fatigue... just no pep AT ALL. I feel about like I do the days I am running on 2 hours of sleep. It's not as bad as when I was preg with my DD, with her there was no picking the right time to take a nap. I just fell asleep whether I liked it or not. On and off headaches too, again not as bad as with DD. With her the headaches were constant and never let up. I was preg for 6 weeks (can't really count the "two" weeks they always throw in there) and I had a headache everyday all day for 6 weeks. So I have some signs that are ringing some familiar bells but nothing I would come out and say 100% is a preg symptom. Oh and that yucky watery mess in my undies... very normal during preg for me but I posted here about it and was told by... momamia I think, that it is likely a SE of Clomid.

Me either. It's probably still too soon to test but oh well. I am all set up for morning. I have my cup ready with the tests in the cup just waiting to be dipped. Tomorrow Ill be taking the opk and internet cheapy hcg test but I will also be taking a first signal test (Wal-Mart cheapy). I have 3 of them so I have one for 9, 10 and 11 dpo. By then I should be seeing some kind of line on one or the other hcg tests if I am preg and if not I have to call my doc and get ready for round 2 because if FF's interpretation of my shift is right then AF is due on Saturday. I'm supposed to call before starting the next round and I'm not 100% on what days my OB is in office as he has certain days He sets aside for scheduled surgeries and I don't know which days they are. If Tuesday is CD3 I certainly don't want to wait until Monday and find out that is his surgery day!

My temp was a bit lower today and I know I'm out. My BFP charts in the past my temp always continuously rose until a drop around 8 or 9 DPO but a slight drop this early means I'll get a BFN in 5 days. I'm disappointed especially considering we had multiple attempts... But I do like the idea of a May baby.

7dpo, 8DPO and even right now. Always left side. I am honestly not surprised to get a BFN. But if I am being truthful I am disappointed that I am not even seeing the slightest change in the OPK :(

Basically the same as yesterday. Yesterday's was 98.39 I believe and today's is 98.37.

Btw, with my temps being so high just waking up I decided to temp last night, lying in bed waiting for washer to get done. It was 99.3... surprised the heck outta me. Dont think it means anything... just surprising.

I know it can still happen for both of us :) With my DD my HCG was only 13 at 11 DPO (imagine my shock knowing I had gotten several faint BFPs!) so assuming it doubles every other day that means it was like 6-7 on 9DPO. I am just too stinking impatient lol. Why else would I be testing so early?! Lol.

The headache is back again today and it is the same tylenol resistant type of headache I had when I was preg with DD. I want to go back to sleep but my head is killing me :( And to top it off my nose is in overdrive. DH had waffles for breakfast and all I can smell is a sickening sweetness in the air! :fingers::pray: it is a good sign.

Started 7 DPO same as with DD, so I am on day 3 as well, and if this morning is any indication it's getting worse. Headache was like my very first sign with her and I remember wanting to take something stronger but knew it was atypical of me to have headaches like that so I was afraid to take anything but tylenol. Then, just like now, I'd kill to take an aleve but I'll be good and suck it up just in case :)

Can't weigh in on the lower back ache, though. My kidneys always give me issues just before AF and I have noticed that if I don't have a backache by 10 DPO I have about a 75% shot at being preggo... but I usually know by 10 DPO so it isn't really helpful info for me lol. Out of curiosity, is it just an ache? I ask because with my first I had sciatica BAD and very early ( I could barely walk, and it hurt no matter what I did). I have read with sciatica it is supposed to shoot down your leg but that is what my OB said it was and it didn't shoot down my leg... I'll never forget the way it felt though... kinda felt like someone taking a blunt pointed object and pushing it as hard as they could into the right side of my lower back, just above the buttocks..

Yay! Think I might butter up my hubby and see if I can't get a FRER pack. Normally I wouldn't bother with more expensive tests but FRER was what I got my bfp on 10dpo with for my last preg and symptom wise this cycle seems to be following the same pattern. I got a bfp with FRER the day before a blood test showed my HCG was 13 so I am hoping that if these symptoms aren't just my body being an evil tease that I will get a repeat bfp @ 10dpo with FRER.
Fingers crossed extra tight for you and Ill even cross my toes lol. I'd cross my eyes too but that'd make my headache worse and I'd probably kill myself trying to walk *wink*

I knew too. My temps during the day were like yours Two, in the 99's when normally they are in the 97's. I just was afraid to get my hopes up [emoji6] since I had been TTCing for 9 cycles.

Junie- I really don't think you are out. My BFP temps did the same thing, but the next morning they were even higher and stayed higher. I'm hoping the same thing happens to you [emoji8]!

Magical- so glad you had it done and it is over with now. Take care of yourself while you recover. I'm hoping this does the trick and a sticky, hopefully pink, bean comes to you!!

Well I will not test until day 12 which will be August 2. I just woke up and the head is worse than ever but I think it too early to be pregnancy related. I'm only 2-3 dPo.(lol) I think maybe it's from dropping my vitex on day 14 but then again it didn't do this last month??? My sciatic acted up with my first starting about 10 weeks. This is more just a constant ache across my entire lower back... Very strange. I'm going to have to take something and I really hate to.

I didn't do the ring trick since I didn't have one handy, but I figure the type on the wrapper does the same thing. And I did do the trick of sitting it in the fridge for the photo to get nice lighting. Can you see anything online? It might need tweaking.

Ugghhh, my temp went up this morning already and I only got a positive OPK yesterday afternoon. I tested last evening and this morning and they are showing negative, I will continue to test I guess, but I have always gotten multiple postives in the past. It just seems to fast to be O already, I didn't get enough attempts in :). Fingers crossed for a lower temp tomorrow morning; guess if I get 2 more higher temps I will have my answer but with a 12 day LP last month that would make for a short cycle this month as this is CD15.

Ay yi yi!! The kids wanted to take a walk (they love to walk) and thankfully our recent heat wave seems to have passed so it's beautiful out. I figured 2 birds, one stone. the kids couldn't care less where we walk to, they just like to walk so I decided we'd take a stroll over to the dollar store and pharmacy to see about getting a pack of FRER. Dollar store doesn't carry them anymore :( The pharmacy gave me sticker shock! $20 for a 2 pack, $25 for a 3 pack... PLUS tax!! :omg:Think I'll wait til later and drive to walmart (not walking there! We did once and it was over an hour walk one way, with 2 little ones along a major highway!). I can get a 3 pack at walmart for $13 plus tax or a 2 pack for $9 plus tax!

BTW, it is more than likely an evap because there isn't a drop of color but I looked at my test from this morning again and I think I saw the faintest hint of a line. Nothing I could get on cam... I can only see it with my eyes if the light hits it just right. Like I said, I'm about 99.99% sure it was an evap but it's something I get to obsess about until tomorrow :rofl:

Anyone have any ideas what is safe, other than tylenol during preg? This headache is driving me nuts! I am going to look it up when I get done replying to all your posts but I have tramadol (ultram). Does anyone know if that is safe? Maybe one of you will know the answer and respond before I get to look it up. If not, any ideas? I'll try just about anything at this point :/

That is kinda how I feel right now... The stars are aligning, so to speak, to make me think... maybe. But as I have mentioned before I have had cycles where I was 100% sure that a BFP was in the works only to get AF and feel like a fool. Part of me wants to believe.... but the bigger part is saying "don't be an idiot and make a fool of yourself by thinking you are. You'll just end up even more disappointed in the end".

If you are only 2-3 dpo you are still in the safe zone to take something. The little bean can't implant until it hatches and it takes about 5 days to hatch. Feel better :hug2:

Ok, this is interesting... I see your thumbnail chart but when I click on it it takes me to a chart with one temp on CD 1 and all the others are missing :shrug: From what I can tell from your thumbnail, today's temp doesn't appear to be high enough to be a temp shift, but I could be wrong. :fx: for you!

Ugh! I was afraid of that. I KNOW ibuprofen is a no-no so I guess I am stuck. The weird thing is I am taking extra strength rapid release which generally works on a headache... I usually only have to bust out the aleve (or stronger) for a migraine. This headache is bordering on a migraine but not quite a migraine so I couldn't than, and still can't figure out why it didn't work when I was preggo or why it isn't working now. I might as well be taking tick-tacs because the tylenol has zero affect on it. Maybe because it's a hormonally caused headache??

I seriously hate herbal teas but I am even willing to choke one of those down if someone happens to know one that might work and is safe during preg?!

Just as I suspected it only looks like a 0.1 shift, but based on last cycle I can see the you have a slow rise so it is entirely possible that you DID O! Like you said, tomorrow's temp will give a better idea though!

I agree with momamia, it is much more likely you popped a second egg... or even that what you felt is pain from a still swollen ovary that you didn't O from. It sounds crazy to think of a human egg hatching but they really do. An embryo can't implant until it hatches and it takes about 5-6 days for it to hatch, so implantation can't happen before then.


The human egg is surrounded by a protein shell called the "zona pellucida". This shell has several important functions. Most importantly, it allows only one sperm through to fertilize the egg. After fertilization, the egg divides into 2 cells and this surrounding shell prevents these 2 cells from becoming separated. :rofl: I did the same thing! I woke up, took my temp then grabbed my phone to put it in and realized it was only 1:30 lol. Woke up again at 3:30 and decided to just go with it because I knew DH's alarms were about to start sounding off and I'd never get back to sleep in time to take my temp around 6... and lately I have taken more temps at 4 am than 6 am anyway. your temps have jumped up 0.1 a day for the last 2 days!! :fingers: it is a good sign!! I went ahead and inverted it for you. Just like yesterday I see what could be a line or could be a shadow. If you are seeing a line (with color) within the time frame then it is not an evap. But either way it is still early. Tomorrow we are getting into territory where we might actually start to see lines! No guarantee of course because even if we are preg it is all dependent of our hormone levels, when implantation took place, etc. Tomorrow can't come fast enough, lol. I will say with as even as your temps have been a sudden climb upwards is an optimistic sign :)

Wow lots of updates since last night! I liked that line sage!

I got a stark white test this morning at 10 dpo. I'd think it would be a bfp now if it was going to be. Was a frer. Have a frer digi I could try tmrw or wait til Friday? OK. I will never wait til Friday, I will have to retest tmrw. I had strange cramping on 8 dpo and lots of cramping today but maybe it's just the progesterone.

Well hoping for bfps for you ladies. Two I'm stalking!

If I can get to sleep lol. I am so anxious to test and so nervous to test all at the same time. I am anxious because I am ready to know. No more guessing. But I am nervous because a big part of me expects a BFN because of the barely-there lines on the OPKs that aren't getting darker even a little(I'll attach a pic so you can see what I mean) and it is really messing with any hope I might have. Yeah, pretty close to 4 am. When I test will depend on when I wake up. Last night I actually almost had to test when I woke up at 1:30 'cuz I had to GO, but I somehow managed to force myself to go back to sleep. With my sleep issues it is really hard to predict when I'll wake up. I am hoping for 6 am so I get a good night's sleep and everything is good and concentrated for the test but we shall see...

As far as cutoff, mine has to be 11 DPO (Friday) because of having to call my docs office before starting the next round of Clomid and since my LP is only 11-12 days and day 12 falls on Saturday this time it kinda puts a strain on the need to know time frame. I think that is one reason I am so anxious to know ASAP. Impatience plays a big role but knowing there is a looming deadline doesn't exactly help :/

Well I will day my last baby was a faint bfp at 14 dpo so 10 dpo isn't saying I am for sure out--but I do think feel hopeful. I will try the digi tmrw and if that's a bfn then I will wait to day 14 then retest before I stop my progesterone. We had sex an hour before I o'd and I am getting older but a bfn from that never has happened to me ever before. We will see. Lots of cups in the last few years.

wow...that's me, exactly. I usually take cloneazepam for anxiety but it isn't safe AND it was wrecking my eggs. Just a few more days til I will know either way for sure I guess.

You aren't wrong. Nada = nothing in Spanish. Still have a headache and very tired, but I think being tired has more to do with the fact I woke up at least a half a dozen times last night needing to use the restroom but forcing myself back to sleep :/

Oh and as far as temps my temps take a nose dive the day before AF... 9 times out of 10 that falls on 11 DPO. Also, as of this morning my wonderful pre-AF backache has reported for duty. I am not very optimistic at this point but I am either expecting a temp dive or BFP tomorrow... prob the dive.

Ok, I think my eyes are playing tricks on me... It was after time frame but I decided to look at it again and I swear I thought I saw a line. I did everything I could to try to get a pic.. and damaged the test in the process :oops: Can you all tell me if I managed to get a pic. I don't trust my own eyes right now. I think I might be losing my mind lol.

Two I've tried downloading a photo editing app to my phone in order to point exactly where I see the line. It's in the process still of downloading all my photos so in the meantime I'll try this. I zoomed right in and took a screenshot so you'll have to click on picture but the line I see is 18/19cm from the rh edge of test line (obviously to the left lol) if you look about 3/4 of the way down the line seems more defined. Thanks, sorry it isn't a great pic to work with. You can see the line EASY on the test now but that is because it got damaged. From your pic of it I can see what I thought I saw... I just can't tell if it is evap or just easier to see it dry because it is so faint. :shrug::think: I think I am going to try to go back to sleep and see if the boys will let me sleep long enough to be able to test again. :fingers: for me please?

I know! it makes it even harder!! Will they do a blood test first before starting you on clomid again just in case? Or does it not affect anything?
