Originally I posted a diet but it was too low carb so I made some changes, how does this look?

First thing: 10 almonds
Protein shake (almond milk, greens, protein powder, flax, berries)
hardboiled egg
chicken breast, beans, salsa, and avocado
hummus and carrots
dinner (salad with chicken, eggs and bacon, hamburger, steak) with asparagus, broccoli, or cauliflower
nuts/nut-butter/ or larabar
(adding lemon water all month, one coconut water a day af-o, one regular coffee and one organic decaf coffee, possibly one coke a day but trying to quit!)

Vitamins-
me- prenatal, vitamin D (going outside as well), and fish oil
dh- multi-vitamin, l'arginine, coq10, vitamin D

Workout-
me-Insanity 3 times a week for 30 minutes, running 2 times a week for 30 minutes
dh-push-ups, crunches, planks, weights- most nights

Is that okay? Thanks!

what is in protein powder??

It's looking better, I would really, really like to see more fat and are you avoiding dairy for your sway???

No, I just hate milk and most cheese/yogurt! I do like feta and can add that and a glass of full fat dairy since the baby just started on milk.

Any suggestions for more fat?

I was using Sun Warrior brand protein powder but ran out and am using dh's gross kind. Should we both switch to a better brand? Sun Warrior seemed to have the least amount of chemicals/soy for an affordable price.

Also is it okay if I lose fat and replace it with muscle? I'm really trying to get rid of the extra flab but want to get strong with Insanity. I don't want to lose weight, just the love handles! I feel like a lot of female athletes have boys and they seem physically strong.

:agree: add in the cheese and milk. Right there that will give you some fat.

Butter, red meat, salmon, salad dressing with GOOD fat in it like olive oil!! Eggs, nuts, seeds like pumpkin seeds are good

WE believe that if you hold steady on weight while working out that is blue friendly. I do not have hard data to prove that, though. :agree: lots of athletes have all boys.

Sunwarrior PP looks good. :)

Thanks!! I've been adding a tablespoon or two of coconut oil to my morning coffee. Is that good?
