DH and I are thinking of attempting to TTC pink next cycle, so I've been using an OPK this cycle to figure out when I ovulate. I'm on CD 15 and gotten a pos opk for the last 5 days. Is that normal?
For the attempt, I know 1 attempt per cycle is reccomended, but when would you DTD?

It's normally recommended on here to have one attempt at positive opk to sway pink but that probably isn't the best advice if you've got positives for 5 days in a row. I would probably DTD every 4 days starting after AF. Are you taking temps too? In regards to whether or not 5 in a row is normal, I'm not sure, hopefully someone else can chime in...

I would have you in with an attempt the day of first pos OPK and then switch to every 4 days after that. That way you're PROBABLY in with one attempt but you're covered either way.
Some people do seem to get those OPK for several days, so I think that's been the most successful way of dealing with it.
Another thing you can do is split the difference and DTD the second or third day of positive. this can work too.

oh and have you just started with the OPK?? Changed diet? Is this normal for you??
I think we may want to try switching to the alternate PCOS diet instead of the higher carb form of LE. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/9052-swaying-under-special-circumstances-part-3-pcos.html

Atomic, I had pos opk for 6 days in a row. I have no idea if this is normal or not. My cycle has always been pretty regular, so nothing weird there. I got the pos opk right when my iPeriod app predicted I would. Temping is a lost cause for me as I never really get restful sleep. I'm a light sleeper and I wake about every 2 hrs and for a second and then fall back asleep. Makes it hard to temp accurately.
I've been skipping breakfast for almost a year, and no red meat most of my life. I just started really trying LE for the past 3 weeks or so.

Ok I would proceed with the idea that this was probably just a weird month and then see how it goes in the future. We have the directions that I gave above to fall back on.
