Hi all!

I'm new here and really want to learn what I could do to have a girl.
I'm also relatively new to TTC to be honest. Thanks in advance for having me.

I would like your opinions as to what the chances for me to sway pink currently.

I'm naturally thin and my diet is like this. My daily calorie intake is probably up to 1700.
Breakfast of 1 banana, or 1 cup of yogurt with 1 banana with honey, or sometimes veggie juice.
For lunches I tend to have noodles and some veggies, or some meat dish (pork, chicken or beef)/ fish dish with rice and a few kinds of veggies as sides. I love noodles of all kinds.
For dinner I tend to have a little serving of rice with a little serving of meat or fish, and a lot of times I eat a little serving of beans. I try not to eat so much in the evening on most days, except for Friday and Saturday when I eat out, I eat a lot of different foods.
I drink up to 2 cups of coffee and 1 cup of green tea most days.
I take Vitamin B6 and E, and Folic Acid but I don't do it everyday. I tend to take them 4 times a week.
I prefer to eat healthy and not having to take artificial sweetener type of stuff including soda drinks, although for pink sway its recommended to have diet coke and the like?
Is there any sups I should take to up my game?

My husband eats a lot of chicken and generally a lot of meat, but he prefers to not take so much rice and bread. He tries to have protein but not so much carbs mainly because he works out a lot.
Usually he releases at least every other day throughout a month. When he has time like on weekends he releases multiple times but at least once a day in consecutive days. Is this considered FR or no?
His testosterone levels seem to be high naturally.

What things should I keep in mind you think?

I am also wondering if any of you believe genetics play a part in boy or girl conception.
Is it the father's side of family that tends to determine which gender to likely conceive?

And here's what I think we'll do. Would really appreciate your opinion!

Mild LE diet for me but won't do a lot of diet sodas. Won't take vitex, cranberry supps or aspirin since these are hard to get where I live.
I do mild cardio exercise just to feel better about keeping myself healthy. I'm a bit lazy and not sporty so I can't work out everyday but I still like to do something. haha
DH won't take anything special.
DH releases almost everyday so he'll continue as usual, or I might help him release more.
We've always used regular lube when we bed. I've read a study where the use of lube makes it hard to conceive so I was worried about this, but apparently by genderdreaming standard, it sways pink!?
We'll start by bedding WITH lube POS OPK then J&D, and the following day one more attempt with J&D just to cover my fertile period.

Does this sounds good to you?

What kind of lube are you using? Whether or not it sways depends on the type.

For a pink sway, one attempt in the fertile period is recommended. I would skip the second attempt the day after your positive opk.

Hi. Just a generic lube you could find in a drug store, water based and not sperm friendly.
I recently bought preseed but after reading on here definitely NOT using it!

I just started experimenting with Wondfo OPK this cycle but not showing positive at all even though my ovulation is expected today!!! Ive been testing twice a day one in the morning and another at night. My temp hasn't gone up yet though.
I know I ovulate. Have done blood test and Echo a few months ago.
So frustrating!!! I got 100 of those OPK. Will be bummed if they didnt work for me!

Sounds like the lube is the right kind for your sway :)

What makes you think that ovulation is expected today? Have you been temping? Keep in mind that swaying can change the day you normally O, it did for me! I have switched to BDing every 4 days because of it, so that I make sure I just get in one attempt no matter when I end up Oing.

Good luck!!

Update! Wow, so I haven't O'd yet. Based on my cycle history I was sure was going to O on and around the 10th but my temp hasn't gone up besides OPK not being positive at all, I visited my doctor and she did U/S and said that my right ovary had follicle 13mm. She expects my O this weekend. It's a week delay that makes my menstrual cycle of this month 35 days or something. This is the longest ever.
I can't remember being too stressed or had anything different happen recently though. I hope everything is OK but this delay definitely screws up my plan!

I think it's the b6 delaying ov - I would wean off it right away. May sway blue, and DEFINITELY screws up cycles.

Hi Atomic, thanks! I'll stop B6 right away!
I've been taking some B6 and E since May on and off, and last cycle I was taking them more regularly because I wanted to shorten my cycle from like 31 to 28ish days, which was a success but this cycle it's late... I guess that's B6.

Yes it can really make your cycles drag on and on!!!
