Still doing my research and started my supplements and diet! Managed 1950 calories yesterday. MAN! that was hard. No wonder I had 2 girls when I have trouble eating a "normal" amount of calories. Also noticed I have lost 3 pounds recently!! I tend to just get busy and forget to eat. So Iguess it's good that I've lost weight so I can gain it back as part of my blue sway. ANYWAY I'm getting off topic because my real question was:
The progesterone from my Mirena IUD...how long will it take for me to clear out of my system?
ALSO, my first pregnancy, I had to have progesterone to jump start my period, and then I was going to get Clomid but I ended up getting pregnant without. So what if that happens again? Is there another way to jump start my period without progesterone, or a way to still sway blue with it?

The idea that progesterone sways pink is very, very, very sketchy. An unscientific interpretation of a study that had barely any evidence supporting it to begin with. Please do not give it a second thought, I can assure you I see equal numbers of boys and girls conceived to people regardless of their progesterone. Women who have very short LP get girls all the time and women with normal LP like me, I've never had a short LP in my life and my prog is great, I have 4 boys.
The problem with the Mirena is not the progesterone, it's that it affects the cervical crypts that make EWCM and make you less fertile because of that. Some people recover from it very quickly, others it can take some time. No way to predict. IF you keep eating a good diet it may recover more quickly.
Just because you needed progesterone to start your cycle before, doesn't mean it will happen again. It's not unusual for women to have goofy cycles prior to their first child that then settle down and normalize ever after.

Thanks I appreciate the clarification. I did think it was the progesterone. As far as the EWCM goes, I have always made a huge amount of that, even with the Mirena.
