I have been tracking my normal diet for just over a week now while I figure out the LE diet and I'm noticing that my potassium intake is VERY low. I have always had problems with anemia so I assumed my muscle weakness was related to that, but now I'm beginning to think part of it and my muscle cramps have been due to low potassium instead. My average intake on my normal diet has been less than 1k mg a day, most days its actually much closer to 600-800mg. Is a potassium supplement okay/safe/acceptable on a girl sway with LE? Thanks!

Potassium does not need to be listed on labels so most people are getting more than they think. I don't think potassium supps are necessary for most people, you just need to make sure you're getting enough from diet.

I have an essay on this topic in the Dream Members section here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/le-diet-info/47773-guide-potassium-le-diet.html

it's hard because this is a work in progress and we started off with the "old school" stuff experimenting to see if it worked and if we could make it work better. This is one thing the old school seems to have been completely wrong on, alcohol has been getting great results for us and as it sits now (barring any future information) I think it's an effective tactic.
