Hi Everyone.

I was on the in gender diet for 6 weeks it was so restrictive that I was only eating 1000 calories a day and maybe 10 g of fat and doing spin 5 days a week. I laugh as I write this because it sounds so ridiculous. I went from 112 to 106lbs....and found out my family member has an awful type of cancer during that time which probably made me eat less. My cycles generally last close to 40 days and I have been trying to correct my short LP with b6 which worked last month. I'm now eating min 1500 calories and 35-40g fat.
I'm on CD2 is it wishful thinking I can have a normal ovulation this month? My awful chart is below....thanks so much ladies :)

Oh no Jessica I"m so sorry you're going thru all that.

Since you did eventually O last month, I think you will manage again this upcoming month, please don't stress about it because that can aggravate the situation.

I would actually have you eat a bit more fat like 40-50 g (adding in one serv. a day full fat dairy is a relatively low cal way to do this, you'd only increase cals by 150 and would still be in line with IG principles for the most part, if that is important to you) and wean off the B6, that can also really delay ovulation and I believe it to sway blue. TONS of us have gotten opposites when taking B6 including me, I got my 4th son taking B6 as per IG's instructions.

How short is your LP without the B6??

Thanks atomic for the tips. My LP has been 8 or 9 days sine I started tracking (5 month now). I got pregnant with my 2 year old son after one try and wasn't tracking anything so I don't know what my LP was before I had him. I mentioned it to my doctor and she said don't worry about LP but how can I not? The month I took the b6 my LP was 12 days......but I don't want to sway boy either!

Are you nursing him still?? (it is fine that you do that!) Just asking because sometimes that can be affiliated with short LP.

What you need to understand is that LP is a variable thing. It can be all over the place and vary by the month, so if you've tracked for 5 months, that doesn't necessarily mean it is going to stay that way. It is possible to get pg with 9 day LP, it does make it more difficult, of course. I think we need to focus on giving your body the raw materials to make a good level of hormones and your LP will fix itself.

Looking at your chart, I actually think your LP may be longer than it appears. FF is just a computer algorithm it someties gets things wrong and because you had a slow rise, I think it confused it.
