I need motivation and help!!

I still haven't got my positive OPK. WE are swaying for a girl and I am trying soooooo hard to stick to my one attempt at positive OPK. I have felt like I'm ovulating for the last two or three days. Today is extreme with bloating, twinges, crampy etc. I get a positive every month but I fear it's after ovulation or I'm going to miss it!!! I test morning, midday, and nightly. There is a line there but def not as dark as the control line. Go for it or wait until my positive OPK and stick to my sway plan!?! Ahhhhhh is it normal to have these strong symptoms so many days before ovulation??

I tested negative yesterday morning and by 4pm it was a full blown positive. Once I started seeing an increase in EWCM I knew it had to be approaching. Swaying can make things a little funky, but with you testing three times a day it's unlikely you missed your surge. When are you expected to o apx?

I know it girl. My cycle was a lot shorter than normal this time. I usually get a positive the day after my flower on my app basically every month. That was yesterday. But maybe since my cycle was 26 days compared to my normal 33-36 day cycle it's going to be a little later you think??

I'd wait until the OPK is actually positive because your body can "gear up" to ovulate but then doesn't for whatever reason. It happened to me all the time when we were TTC our first. They do have the clear blue advanced OPKs which tell you when ovulation is approaching (blinking smiley) and when it will happen within the next 12-24 hours or so (solid smiley). I used them for a cycle or two and had pretty good luck with them but beware it may drive you batty if you have several days of flashing smiley faces. lol

If it were me I'd wait! I almost DTD a day before getting my pos opk because I was getting anxious, but with the advice of some friends I held off a day and thank goodness I did. I had a really short cycle last month (24 days), so I'm interested to see what happens this cycle.

You can def. get symptoms for days before ovulation.

There is no magic to a positive OPK - the important thing is that you're in with an attempt before ovulation. So if you think it's coming soon, have an attempt. The positive OPK is just a way to ensure that attempt is not too far before ovulation, that's all. Better too soon than too late.

Thanks atomic! Still no positive this am or afternoon. I still feel crampy, bloated, heaviness, twinges in left side etc. . I think we will have an attempt tonight to ease my mind. My hubby is 37 and it's been 6 days so prob need to let him release anyway!

I know it girl! I get one every month but for some reason in the back of my mind I have a fear I'm not going to ovulate!! I'm a teacher and this month or next month would be ideal! My sister just found out she's pregnant and we have always wanted to be Preggo together and my best friend started trying this month and we want these babies around the same age like we did with both of our first! The pressure is ON!!!!hahaha

Well I knew this would happen! We dtd last night and of course, positive OPK this morning! He had a horrible release and I swear everything was left right at the entrance of my you know what! I made him get me a mirror and there was lots of white! So romantic!lol here's the question... Attempt again tonight?

I really, really, really do not recommend another attempt. You can get pg from that attempt.
