Abundant EWCM?

I ovulated some time yesterday (I think!), CD 20, which is super late for me... but I had fertile CM for about a week. Had lots of EWCM the last couple days. It's not quite like it used to be, but I'm thinking it probably is still too much. Do you guys think I should take an antihistamine for our attempt, and if so, what is recommended now? Thx :)

I believe it is one Benadryl (also known as Diphenhydramine) 2 hours before attempt (it stays at the therapeutic level for 4-6 hours) or Zyrtec (also known as Cetirizine) 6 hours before your attempt (it stays at the therapeutic level for 24 hours.) if I remember correctly.

During my last cycle I used Zyrtec 6 hours before, but still had a lot of EWCM so I popped a Benadryl an hour before, too and that dried me up.

The anthistamines haven't been getting stellar results and have cut odds of conception. I am simply not convinced by the stats that anyone really NEEDS them but I do still recommend them because they aren't swaying blue for sure, and it's just all so murky as to what is really helping and what isn't. I did get my daughter without them and I had EWCM, and I got my 4th son with no visible CM at all so I just don't know how much it even matters.

It is very difficult for me to give a blanket recommendation on antihistamines. Some take for 5 days straight, others only use rescue, and then some combine both. Please check complete index for the essay on antihistamines.
