Hi! :)

I was wondering if your DH is following a diet along with you?

We are doing the LE diet.... The first month or so my DH did really well. But since then he has decided he doesn't want to follow it as much.

I was wondering what your DH is doing?

Before hubby didn't do the diet but he has noticed my weight loss and has asked to go on the diet... we will be trying again in Sept and for the next month we will both be on the diet.

no I am a one sided swayer lol, my dh is fine that I am doing this, he agreed to the extra bding and releasing but what guy wouldnt lol other than that he doesnt believe in the whole swaying thing, he feels that youre gonna get what God gives you no matter how much you sway, so I am alone on this, but hopefully its enough to work :)

My DH isn't - in fact, I'm kind of encouraging him in being a bit of a pig because I think the extra fat is good for a girl sway. He keeps saying he's put on weight and he wants to lose it and I have to ask him to wait until he's got me pregnant!

My Dh did. But i think he made up for a lot of calorie at lunch time so i guess that means sort of. He's not big on eating low anything. Thats why he's also taking licorice root and baby asprin.

My DH is willing to take the supplements and drink crystal light but that is about the extent of it. I haven't mentioned cutting back/out caffeine yet:fight::giggle:

You see, I took the view that caffeine lowers fertility so I let him carry on!!

If your dh is overweight- losing weight raises T. My hubby followed it with me and his ph dropped (swaying boy!). Anyway, it affected us both! And he lost weight on the boy diet! :)

My husband wouldn't do a thing to sway...I think it's awesome that you guys have such supportive hubbies!!!

Just to clarify, pH in the 7's is prob. optimal for TTC a boy. Low pH is usually thought to sway pink. Sky high pH may not be good for sperm and may inadvertently sway pink by killing off a lot of the swimmers.

Mine neither! lol! And he keeps telling me he *feels* we are done having kids...so much for the support LOL!
I'm giving him supps everyday and he swallows them without complaining...that's something , huh?

Z, that's more than mine would do. :/

As I've said before, the truly annoying thing is, now that we're pretty much "done" (according to him anyway hahahaha :whip:) he is suddenly doing all this really girl-friendly stuff like smoking a pipe and eating aspartame all day long.:hair:

I think it's better for DH to stay the same in weight (unless he's heavy and you want a BOY, in which case he should lose weight) and focus instead on doing things that lower sperm count (for pink swayers). It's not that I don't think it could possibly sway in some direction, but I think that for most guys it's so unpredictable due to their different levels of muscle/fat and how those things might affect sperm count, that I hesitate to advise anyone. Evidence seems to indicate it's maternal condition that sways and not so much paternal condition - for DH it's the sperm count that matters more.

I wouldn't worry about what's already done, just know that he doesn't need to lose more unless he wants to.

My hubby used to be super skinny and lanky and now has more fat and muscle hope this is ok lol!?

He feels ill-equipped to raise a girl - not that he has anything against them. ;)

More muscle is def. a good thing for blue! More fat ~can~ lower sperm count but I think it has to be rather a lot before it matters.

When I do sway, Dh will not follow the diet. He doesn't really believe in swaying. I will be able to give him supp's, but cut out red meat? no way lol

I am in the same boat, DH thinks swaying is all non-sense and old wives tales. he will take the supps and let me time BDing, but he will not give up his Pepsi and Steak!

My dh and I have been following the ig diet for about 3-4 months and I must say he has been really supportive. I have lost about 15kg in it and he has also lost about 8kg or so. It's hard for him cause his job is physical and he has a really fast metabolism so he loses weight quick.
Carmlla, would you be able to switch his pepsi woth the diet caffeine free one? My dh has had this a bit and says it tastes ok?

My DH isn't doing very well. He is taking all his supps, which is a big sacrifice for him, since he HATES taking pills. But otherwise, he isn't doing a whole lot.
