Will you BD once, twice, or more often to conceive a boy?

For concieving a boy you want every 2-4 days bd then at +OPKs about 3 attempts ie that night, next morning and again that evening.
That's what I did when swaying for my DS

I am sure some others will chime in here but we have 75-75% success for PINK with TTC one time. This drops to 44% with three attempts (even with otherwise strong pink sways). Don't stick to that old outdated "one attempt at ovulaton" for a boy, it doesn't work!
I got my boys DTD at least 2 times in fertile window and my girl DTD only once.

In all honestly, we will probably only be able to get in 2-3 attempts. In this case, when do you recommend we start, the day of the first positive OPK?

With DS1 we BD every day for three days at positive opk and every other day before and after my confirmed temp rise. DS2 we BDed every other day through the latest CD I have ever Oed at that time. With this DS, I swayed girl so only one attempt in my fertile window but had to take vitamin D and CoQ10 to improve my fertility. I believe all I had to do to improve my fertility to get pregnant put me back into the blue zone despite a solid girl sway.
FX and tons of my blue, baby dust [emoji597][emoji92][emoji170][emoji843][emoji170][emoji94]!!!

I got my boys by BD each day from day 10 to day 14 in my cycle. I didn't chart or sway back then, was just trying to fall pregnant.

We BD'd every other day and then got +OPK yesterday and will BD again today and tomorrow. I'm bummed we couldn't get one in yesterday, but will still have 3 in fertile window.

Aw, thank you XX!! I have 3 of a kind, and it is WONDERFUL!! My 3rd DD was a failed boy sway and I seriously thank God every single day that my sway failed. She is our everything! Congrats to you on your 3rd little boy. And you can have all my girl dust if you need it someday :)

Thank you everyone!! You are all so helpful. We will aim for 3 tries this month but that will be difficult because we will be visiting my in-laws at the time, yikes! :nails: I appreciate all your insight!

Thank you! I'll gladly take your pink dust for my DH! My DH has always longed for a DD! We will start not using protection when this little guy is 4-6mo. I want to stop trying if it doesn't happen by Dec. 2016, because I don't want to be 39 and pregnant! That's just me though- I'd like to get back to work before I'm 40 so I can retire at a decent age, lol!

Yeah, I know! I feel since we won't be using protection after this bub is born and having well timed BDing starting when he is 5-6mo that we will have a great shot. If it doesn't happen by Dec. 2016, it won't matter because my DH is getting a vasectomy then. We just feel like we want to give it another really good shot before we leave it behind. I don't want to have any regrets an neither does my DH. Who knows what will happen? At least I can sway without messing with things and just relaxing about it because I've done it all before and leave out all that stressed me out and caused me to fret and micromanage! I'll be so busy with two at home and one in Kindergarten and me trying to keep a clean house and sane [emoji38]. Yah opks and temping is NOT gonna happen [emoji6]!!

I hear ya...I just turned 36 and this will be our 4th and final child. We are giving it 5 more months, and then if we are not pregnant, we are DONE!! We have both always wanted 4 since before we were married, but are very happy and content with our 3 kiddos that if it doesn't happen, at least we can say we tried and have no regrets. :)
