This is really confusing me. I started the LE diet 3-1/2 weeks ago and have gained 6 lb. This seems wrong to me since I have reduced my calorie consumption from 2000-2200 range down to 1500-1600 a day and reduced my protein and fat down as well. Since doing that I've gained all that weight and my blood sugar levels have shot way up. I'm not diabetic or IR, but I've had GD with my pregnancies and monitor my levels periodically to see how they are doing. I don't understand why I'm gaining so much weight with the diet changes. That's the only thing I've changed!

you need to be on one of the alternate diets in this thread http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/9052-swaying-under-special-circumstances-part-3-pcos.html

Sometimes people who have underlying tendencies towards glucose intolerance issues go onto LE Diet and it aggravates something that was not a problem, into becoming one. Switch to an alt. diet right away both for your health and for your sway. :)

I'll have to try that. I still have about 20 lb to lose from my last pregnancy and breast feeding (I gain or at least hold onto weight while nursing). A normal diet for me involves primarily meat, eggs, cheese, veggies with more limited grains. To cut my protein levels and still get enough calories my carb intake went up quite a bit. I'm guessing the change threw my body out of whack and it doesn't know what to do.

I guess something else that's different is I just had Paragard removed as well. I got pregnant with it in last cycle and then miscarried when it was removed. I figured I'd start swaying now for a likely attempt starting around December.
