Hi ladies! I am being needy this week lol

I posted on Tuesday saying "oh no i'm sick and i'm excpecting ovulation and I don't feel like attempting." Well, now it's Thursday and i'm saying "I haven't gotten my positive OPK yet and I was calculating this week as ovulation!"

So my questions: 1) Can being sick delay your expected ovulation? 2) I have EWCM today, and usually I get that the same time I get a positive OPK. I've tested twice today. Does EWCM mean ovulation or ovulation COULD be happening? AND THE BIG QUESTION: 3) I should wait for that positive OPK for the only attempt right?!? (See, the I-Have-Two-Boys-Because-I-Am-too-impatient-to-only-do-one-attempt voice in my head is rearing its ugly head. I guess the EWCM is making me nervous that I might miss O.

Thanks ladies =)

Yes, yes, yes, being sick can delay it! And the LE diet delays my ovulation, too. I was convinced my positive OPK would never come, but I finally got it on day 20. The EWCM is probably a good sign it's on its way. Be patient and stick with that one attempt!! :)

Is it possible being sick can make you skip ovulating all together or is that not as common?

Yes, being sick can delay O and does fairly regularly.

EWCM can be BOTH ovultion approaching or delayed ovulation.

Question 3 is a bit tough to answer because it is really a crystal ball question. You can have an attempt now and then wait and see when you get the pos OPK - if it's anytime betwen now and in 4 days, don't have another attempt. If it's longer, do have another attempt. If you can't decide, flip a coin. Or, you can hold off and not attempt but that is a risk of skipping the month. Totally up to you to decide.
