Hello lovely ladies

Just getting over our loss and I'm struggling to motivate myself back into appropriate TTC boy exercise - can anyone inspire me with any strength training workouts on YouTube or otherwise that you really enjoyed/enjoy or felt/feel were really good for building strength and muscle?

TIA!

So sorry for your loss fox, it's truly heartbreaking :tissue: with regards to exercise, how about 30 day shred? It's about 20 minutes of interval training. It's tough, but I think very boyfriendly and short.

I like Jessicasmithtv on YouTube! 30min to 45 & she does all kinds of workouts!! Her strength training ones would be perfect!

I'm cheering for you Fox!:cheerteam:

I mixed mine up so many times, I was doing kettlebell workouts (so easy) then I tried barbell weights and then tried resistance training with extra dumbbell weights - I actually struggled to keep up hence all the changes. The results were great I loved my muscle, I've stopped since BFP but still have some arm and leg muscle !!
I did tons of squats too.
My routine was 45 mins brisk walking one day and 30-40 mins weights the next. I would take a days break here and there

Thanks so much ladies, this gives me some good ideas! No excuses not to get started now! What do you think about hiking whilst carrying my 18 month old on my back? Good or bad?

Welcome back. I don't know about hiking for a boy sway but dh and I hiked last weekend and my legs were killing me!! It seems good for boy.

I've been doing Lindsay Brinn's postnatal bootcamp and making sure to do the weight-heavy workouts. This is a good one because you can keep this video and do it after the baby comes to get back in shape! :)

I think hiking with your kiddo would be great, might mean a sore back, but great!!

Me too Ash,loving the Jessica smith stuff (my legs and arms less so!). If it hurts it must be doing something good, right?!

What workouts are you guys doing? I did the strength training one and I'm starting on the dumbbell ones. I usually do about 40 minutes so I think I'll do a couple of them. I was hoping I would replace my leftover baby fat with muscle but it seems to be just adding underneath.

So far ive just been doing the free 20 minute strength training one with 4kg weights - that's enough for me at the mo!

Her workouts are intense. I only did 30 minutes today and I felt it!! Makes me feel like I'm getting strong.
