View Full Version : What kind of dinners are you preparing?

I'm having a difficult time adding 3-4 servings of red meat into my diet. I think I'm generally getting 100-120 grams of protein a day but I still eat a lot of chicken. I've been doing hamburgers, beef nachos, and occasionally some other beef meals but we don't eat a lot of it. Help!

Oh and I did just get some steaks.

Are you having fish twice a week? I did a salmon dinner and tuna dinner two days. Some red meat dinners I did were Spag Bol, Shepherds/Cottage pie, Beef Stew, steak beef burgers, chilli beef, gammon joint, I also did some pork & some lamb dishes.

I have recently read that beef makes you acidic.... Doesn't this sway pink? I thought we were supposed to eat red meat to sway blue? However If it's not about ph and more about nutrition surely things like fish, chicken etc would be better rather than lots of red meat? Confused! Xx

i didn't go overboard with red meat, but i did eat a LOT of dark meat chicken (mostly thighs).
