Had brewer's yeast for the first time today...

and it was horrible!! I had been eating nutritional yeast because I had the two confused so I ordered some brewer's yeast and just had it today. Whoa, I could barely choke it down. The things we do to get our boys!!

How were you having it??? You don't eat it the same way you eat NYF, you stir it into juice or smoothies where you can't taste it.

Try a different kind of juice or a smaller amount of BY to start

It's pretty nice when cooked in lactation cookies :) That is the only time I have had it but I don't know how boy sway friendly they are, my guess is they would be ok.

It's much more palatable in pineapple juice :) I found it to taste like beer :D
Oh and use a straw it goes down much quicker !!

The only reason why it's ever used in v8 is to make the v8 into the potassium drink. But it doesn't HAVE to be used together, it's fine to have the BY in another juice and the v8 on its own.

I think some of us blue swayers try to do everything to the T but we get there in the end and find what works :D
