Actually I don't think it's a very healthy oil.
I'm thinking of changing it and use olive pomace and rapeseed oil instead?

I have been using this soybean oil for a year ....is it a going to affect my sway negatively?

I'm planning to ttc in November. So changing oil now gives me about 7 weeks on the olive and rapeseed oil. Is this enough or should I delay ttc?

Sorry for long post just need advice desperately x

NO, because even though those oils have omega 3 in them, they have MORE omega 6. The companies are just not advertising that. You want more omega 3 and animal/saturated fats than Omega 6, vegetable fats. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/39013-skinny-fats-pink-blue.html

Olive oil is ok but you should prob avoid rapeseed and soybean for TTC a boy.

Butter and coconut oil are even better still.

6 weeks or more on diet has been effective for blue.

Ok that makes a lot more sense. Sorry for all the questions! Thank you sooo much for your advice.

Because I use oil everyday in cooking using coconut oil Coul be quite expensive. Is there an alternative? Like how is sunflower oil?

Thanks again

Ok...just read essay. Well I guess sunflower falls under plant oil category. So it will be the same as consuming soybean and rapeseed oil 😐

It seems that rapeseed oil actually has less omega 6 compared to soybean and sunflower. So perhaps it's the lesser of three evils lol

Can you use butter or ghee? Lard?

Rapeseed oil is heavily chemically processed and is considered by most people to be quite unhealthy so regardless of the Omega 3/Omega 6 profile, it is best to use sunflower oil or olive oil instead of Rapeseed. (for others reading this in N. America rapeseed = canola)

Oh right thank you atomic. You are a real sweet heart. That makes sense. I do use ghee every now and then. But also use a blended oil. It is 51% olive pomace and 49% sunflower. Is this ok? Xx

Yes it's ok, just try to be getting more of the ghee than the oil if you can. :)
