Sorry for my obnoxious posts. I'm really getting nervous this cycle.
CD 15 (Thursday): negative OPK BD at night
CD 16 (Friday): negative OPK. Couldn't tell if I had Ewcm because I BD'd the night before
CD 17 (Saturday):husband is away. Positive OPK or pretty near positive. The test line is only a teeny bit lighter than the control.
CD 18 (Sunday): husband will be home
Cd 19 (Monday) : husband will be home and would technically be the 4th day.
So I'm basically asking if I should BD tomorrow or just wait until Monday. I will def take another OPK tomorrow but last cycle I got a near positive OPK one day and then the next day the line got lighter. I just feel like if I wait until Monday, I will have already ovulated yet there won't be enough sperm sticking around to make Thursdays attempt count. Would it be a compromise to BD at like midnight on Sunday?
I don't really mind waiting another cycle. But I have been kind of doing LE for almost 4 months now and exercising 6x a week for 60 minutes for almost 4 months now. I know next month it will be cold and harder for me to walk/jog.
Would you guys do?

I'd stick with the attempt on Thursday and Monday night for this cycle. With the e4d method we aren't supposed to worry about positive opk's I don't think. Just stay to the 4 day rhythm and see what happens this month.

If you're doing the every 4th day method, I really would stick to it and try again Monday x

Flip a coin and do what the coin tells you. For reals, not kidding. If it's borderline and you can't decide, please just flip a coin. Writing threads and all the mental calculating and pros/cons lists only serve to create anxiety and control-freakiness about a situation that at the end of it all, is out of your control anyway. Neither I, nor you, nor anyone else knows what the right move is so just take a moment to turn it over to whatever higher power you so choose (including Lady Luck) and flip a coin.

Thanks everyone! I think I will test midday tomorrow and if the line is darker than I will dtd Monday. If it's lighter, than I will dtd tomorrow night! So kind of flipping a coin. Hahaha. It's such a borderline cycle, I feel like!
Let's say I did dtd Monday, and I ovulated Sunday. Do I still have a chance from my Thursday attempt? I know it's smaller but it's still a chance
right?

Yes. Sperm can live that long definitely. My sisters first pregnant was from a 3 day cut off.

I took another OPK tonight and it was as dark as the control line. So that means I could ovulate anywhere from 12-36 hours after right?

Took another OPK this morning and it was still positive. So I think I'm just going to DTD tomorrow. I know taking OPKs are not recommended doing the 4 day method. But this is my first period after weaning so I kind of figured things would be wonky. I'm almost 2 years pp at this point.

It's fine to use them, this is just why it can sometimes add to stress by putting you in a position of having to make a decision. Sometimes ignorance is bliss haha

Hahaha so today we were supposed to BD and my husband is super sick. Like a virus and there is no possible way haha so the decision has been made for us. Should have listened to atomic in the first place and just left it to fate. :)
I'm just going to hope that my attempt 3 days before Ovulation left something for my eggie. :)

You never know, it may be fate's way of lending a hand! Hope he's feeling better soon.
