Hi There,

I'm 5 weeks pregnant with number 2, I'm TTC girl, I have no symptoms apart from my positive pregnancy test, is it normal? I had zero symptoms when I miscarried at 6 weeks 2 years ago, and had tons of symptons with my son the whole first trimester, I'm very worried!

Symptoms don't necessarily equal a snug bean. With my first I had violent MS right from the word GO. With my second the only symptom I had before 8 weeks was gas and even that was just cause I was looking for SOMETHING lol. With my 3rd I didn't have ANY symptoms before MS hit around 7 weeks. And with my early loss and chem preg I had strong headaches and fatigue from implantation until the end. Try not to stress and try to enjoy not having symptoms while it lasts lol (I know, easier said than done... but I just said to try ;) ). (((HUGS)))

Hi there,

Congratulations on your positive pregnancy test. 5 weeks is quite early for pregnancy symptoms. I didn't know I was pregnant with my first until 8 weeks and only took a pregnancy test because my boobs were getting bigger.

Hcg levels will double every 2-3 days. If you're concerned you can go to the doctors and ask for a blood test for hcg levels then 2-3 days later another blood test to see if they are doubling. My fingers are crossed for you.

Oh I didn't know I can do that! I'm meeting my doctor this week, I'll ask her for that. Thank you so much

I was really nervy because I had so little symptoms until I was maybe 7 weeks (aversion to anything with any hint of sugar). I try to remember that some people can go right the way through a big part of their pregnancy without knowing they're pregnant, some even as far as delivery! It's difficult, but hang in there... x

I have just finished my 3rd symptom free 1st trimester. I have a DD and DS and had a 14week scan today and this little one is doing fine too. Enjoy the no symptoms while they last

I don't think the majority of women have noticeable symptoms that early like nausea, tiredness. I'm around 4-5 weeks and nothing yet and loving it cause if its like my last 5 it will show up soon and last through the first tri.ester.

Congratulations on your bfp! I think 5 weeks is still early, try not to worry (I know, easier to say than do). My fingers are crossed for you and your little one!

With both my girl pregnancies I barely had any symptoms.... But this time around I had MS, super sore boobs, super tired as soon as I had my Bfp!! Enjoy feeling great! My friend is almost done with her 1st trimester & said she has no syptoms & baby is doing great :)

It is different for everyone, every pregnancy, and I have seen PLENTY of people with tons of symptoms who lost pregnancies. I had loss once that was very early but it was among the worst for strong symptoms right from the get go. Then a couple of my other pregnancies I did not have symptoms until 6 weeks.

My mom NEVER had symptoms. No heartburn, no morning sickness, and she used to say "it's all in their mind" :p (no its not)
