How did you get it?

Getting it from a doctor is best. If you get it some other way, I will still help you but it is just really best to get it the right way with a doctor's input.

I am taking my last tablet tonight (My Dr said Cd2-6 for me). I am using just for swaying. I have had no side effects so far - I have seen other ladies talking about hot flushes etc, but I'm all good (for now ;)

Nyquil?? Never heard that one before.
I do not recommend using any drying agents (not Sudafed, antihistamine, or Nyquil) when on Clomid.

Boyz - how are you going with it all? I had a little headache two days ago and thought it could of been the Clomid. I ovulated yesterday/last night and had pretty bad O pains. Thought I was getting away with no bad symptoms! Lol
Good luck with it all

Oh? I use levocetrizine for my allergies all year round and wanted to use it while ttc (stopping after O). I don't need to get pregnant asap, but if I try it for two rounds of clomid and nothing happends, I should drop levocetrizine? I assume it would make me less fertile due to dry cm? And it would be too much with clomid?

I think we talked about this already but if you have to use allergy meds all year round then you are probably less sensitive to the effects than others are and while it may help up odds of conception eventually, if you're miserable then you're not exactly going to want to BD!

So can you just go in to your family dr and ask for it? Like I'm pretty sure my family dr knows I do not have trouble conceiving since my daughter is only 15 months. Lol
Boyz mommy how did you find it?!
Ps...sorry for jumping onto an old thread !

Clomid is a weird medication because some doctors hand it out like Tic-Tacs after a garlic dinner and then others hoarde it and deny it even to those for whom it's medically indicated.
It's never a good idea to ask for Clomid. The best way to get it is to approach your doctor wanting to conceive and asking for help. Don't mention the "C" word because there are a LOT of women out there who want twins and try to get it from their doctors. Don't mention swaying, don't mention anything other than that you're not ovulating and/or you have a very short LP and you want to get pregnant. If they want to give it to you, they'll give it to you, if they don't, then they won't, and asking/begging/pleading really only makes them say no.
If you're still breastfeeding then don't mention that part either.
If they want you to get blood work done, say "ok thanks" and then just don't show up to the lab appointment, and if they ever ask about it again just say that you guys changed your mind about TTC right then and decided to wait. :)
