ahhh!!! where is my period???!

Currently on day 37 and no sign of period!!

I am usually a 28-32 cycle person, but for some reason this has not happened this month!

Have not had any unprotected attempts this month so I can't be pregnant! Have not been eating too little (prob opposite) so what the heck I going on?

Has anybody else ever had a random long cycle? This is freaking me out!

Could be anovulatory cycle. That's a cycle where you don't ovulate. I've had a couple of them. The longest was over 60 days and I definitely was not pregnant.

Did a test and not pregnant (phew!!! Not quite ready to start yet!)

Lost about 8lbs over last 2 months so definitely not dropped off fast! Years ago before having my boys I had longer cycles (35 days approx) and ovulated quite late, CD18-22.

However, since having my babies they have been very regular, ovulation CD16 approximately.

Just wish it would hurry up and appear! It's so annoying!!!

Forgot to say, only taking fibre and folic acid at the moment. Xx

It does happen sometimes! I would try 1 serv. full fat dairy a day and 4-6 eggs a week, that can help.

Ok, day 40 and still no proper period!! Just very very light bleeding when wiping only (sorry tmi!) For past 2 days.

Negative pregnancy test yesterday.

Have upped my calories, fat and protein to see if that helps, even though I was doing upper limits of diet anyway with very slow weight loss.

Has this ever happened to anybody else? Does anybody have any idea what this could be about? :(

Update::

Period has finally arrived !!!! Yeah!!

Day 42 is very very late for me! Fingers crossed it has just been a freak month!

Going bring my nutrient levels up to upper limits through just in case :)

CD 42 is a bit late but honestly not terrible! FX it will get better next month.
