Wondered if anyone could have a look at my sway please! I have 2 beautiful boys and want one more baby and would love a little girl.

I'm loosely following the LE diet. I'm not having breakfast then having a sandwich and strawberries/raspberries with canderel and Greek style yoghurt for lunch and meat veg and rice/pasta for tea. I am also drinking milkshakes to up my calcium as I don't like milk!

With my boys I BD every day over my fertile period inc O day so I'm thinking of either doing a 2 day cut off or BD every 4 days? But am unsure which day to start doing that from, does it matter if it fell on O day or not? Or ive read about abstaining for 7 days prior to O however im not always regular so that would be difficult.

I temp and I use OPKs.

I'm taking 1400mg folic acid and 75mg aspirin and magnesium each day.

I have bought rephresh but haven't started using it yet?

What more can I do? Any suggestions welcomed!!

THANKYOU xx

There doesn't seem to be any evidence calcium/magnesium sways. Are you in the limits for fat & protein for the LE diet? Atomic isn't recommending Aspirin anymore as there's recent evidence of more risks from it.

I'd do the BD every 4 days, starting sometimes after your period and before you usually ovulate. lol It's doesn't really matter when you start, so long as it's before ovulation, every 4 days will get one attempt in the fertile window.

Probably not no because I don't know what the limits are! I'm sort of aiming for 1500-1800kcal per day!

So you reckon every 4 days as opposed to 7+ days then one attempt with +ve opk?

Thanks for your reply there's so much info out there and a lot of it is so contradicting! X

This site is the only one where all the successes and failures are tracked and things are refined to what seems to work the best. Atomic also pays attention to the science stuff.

Here's a couple of links about the LE diet: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/trying-conceive-girl/16780-low-everything-diet-nutshell-version.html

You could add exercise - 60mins of cardio in one block at least 4 days per week (ideally 6+). Walking is fine.
Alcohol is getting awesome results at the moment. 1-2 drinks per day with a meal and count the calories. Spirits seem to be the best.
Fiber supp before any meal that contains fat.
It sounds like you would be over on protein currently. Definitely have a read up about Le.
Good luck :). When are you going to start TTC?

Hi and welcome!

Most current girl swayers here on Gender Dreaming are doing:

* LE diet for at least 12 weeks before attempt which is 1500-1800 calories, 40-50g protein, and 30-60g fat a day.
* Skipping breakfast.
* No snacking.
* Fiber supplement with meals.
* 60 minutes of cardio daily OR nothing at all.
* 1 attempt in fertile window (by BD every 4 days OR by BD once at +opk)
* Folic acid or folate only.
* Clomid if you can get it.
* Alcohol and caffeine daily.
* Olive leaf extract for DH.
* Licorice root for DH (only if under 35 years old with no blood pressure issues).

Most have stopped doing antihistamines, Rephresh/Replens/Sylk, jump and dump, PH stuff, saw palmetto, and even vitex as they don't seem to sway much and only make conception harder.

Good luck!

Thanks so much! Alcohol and caffeine is good!!!

I will add in exercise I think nice long evening dog walks [emoji106]

I do have clomid but it over stimulated me so im having a month off.

I know what you mean about protein but can you suggest a couple of things I could put in a white bread sandwich? Typically english I think cheese or ham!! And can I have passata to make pasta sauces as it's not fresh tomato?

Hi and welcome!

Are you staying in 1500-1800 cals, 40-50 g protein, and 30-60 g fat?? That is LE Diet. Drinking a lot of milkshakes for calcium is not LE Diet. :) (you can have milkshakes on LE Diet, just that it's not the first thing I think of when I think of LE Diet)

THe most important thing about when to have your attempt is that you have to stick with one attempt. That is the important thing. It really doesn't matter the day you DTD on, it's that one attempt that matters. We have one attempt at positive OPK because it's easy to pinpoint even with an irregular cycle, and DTD every 4 days is also an easy way to ahve one attempt in the fertile window (because it just tends to work out that way.)

When you're first getting going with every 4 day method, if you did end up due for attempt on O Day, you have two options. One is to just stick with the atttempt you had 4 days earlier and accept a lower chance of conception, the other is to go ahead and have your attempt. IT really still counts as one attempt, because if htere was any sperm left from the previous attempt, it would most likely fertilize the egg before the O Day shot had a chance to capacitate and make it to the egg, and if there wasn't, then the O Day batch would cover it.

DTD on O day doesn't sway. Timing has been the most studied aspect of gender ratio and it just doesn't work.

I would not have you take aspirin every dya unless you need it for medical reasons.

Cheese or ham are ok as long as they fit in the overall diet limits. I ate gobs of cheese sandwiches when I got my daughter.

Pasta is fine with either jarred or fresh tomato. If anything, fresh tomato may even be "pinker" because it's much less concentrated with nutrients.
