Doing the cardio, I'm walking 15 min to the gym, doing 30 min on the elliptical (there is a time limit of 30 min per cardio machine), and then 15 min of 3 mph and high incline on the treadmill, then 15 min walk home. Also I work an average of 5 hours a day 5 days a week (retail. Not labor intensive.), 25 min walk to work and home.
Tracking my heart rate at the gym on the machines, I'm getting a good heart rate of 150-180 generally keeping it in the 170s on both machines and definitely sweating. I hope this is enough cardio. :-/ (I do plan to add at least another 15 min in at the gym, just recently joined and I am still getting acquainted with all the cardio options and finding one that works for me and keeps my heart rate up decently. Tried the stationary bike for a few days but couldn't get my heart rate above 150 on it so looking for something else)
Since starting the cardio, my appetite has gone up, I've increased calories, and I have perhaps gained a bit of weight but this usually happens when I first start a new workout program. I'm hoping that it's just water weight and muscle and I'm going to add more veggies in to my diet to replace some of the breads and I think my weight will begin to gradually fall soon. My planned first attempt isn't until January. I've also added in fiber ( fiber choice prebiotic fiber with chromium picolinate 3g fiber tablets) If there are any suggestions for a different fiber, I'll try to find it. This is one I have gotten for weight control. I've started taking folic acid in preparation to ttc and also iron because I was concerned when everyone was telling me I had spooky skeleton eye sockets and since cutting out a lot of meat and my uncle was recently treated for a potentially genetic form of anemia. I'm down to eating meat once a week but now I have a bagel and cream cheese addiction that I need to kick lol. Just wanted to update on my sway!:celebrate: Good luck everyone! :hugs:

Don't worry about the heart rate!! 150 is plenty
