Now I have a VERY positive OPK but I think I ovulated 2 days ago. Anyone have any idea what the heck is going on?

Sorry, wish I could help you! I've had a +opk 4 days in a row. I wish I never bought them. They just confuse me more lol

I am with you SA, I wish I had never started with these things.

Do you have a chart you can show us? Usually a woman will ov on the final day of pos opks if she gets more than one... why do you think ov might have been 2 days ago?

Agree with rainbowflower - temping will help pinpoint O and your final OPK will generally be when you O. Maybe you felt other signs as your body geared up for O?

I will try to figure out how to attach my chart.

I got my temperature shift WITHOUT a positive OPK. Two days AFTER my temp shift I got a positive OPK. I have never had this happen before. So now I am wondering when I actually ovulated.

I haven't read the whole thread so sorry if it's already been said...you have to have a temp shift for 3 days and if that happens you HAVE ovulated. I hate all the confusion too!!

I have had the temp shift for three days. And it is a definite shift, definitely not questionable if it weren't for the positive OPK. I guess I just keep BD and hope I catch an egg.

OPKs suck?!? :p

You just had a burst of hormone for some reason, that the OPK picked up on. It happens sometimes and doesn't mean anything at all (except later on when it can mean that you're preggo, but it's too early for that, I'm afraid.)

If I had my way no one would ever use them!!!

If it is any consolation, the blue swayers have just as much problems with them...it's not a pink sway thing, it's an OPK thing.

See that is what I would think, a burst of hormone. I just don't understand why I didn't have a positive OPK when I ovulated.

Kaseybaby, I had a nightmare with opk and this cycle I didn't use them but that was confusing too as I had no deck and could only rely on cp, in the end I didn't really know if I'd ovulated, it turned out I didn't! Next time I will bite the bullet and shell out on the expensive smiley face ones as then I think it's more certain. Gl!

Not getting a pos OPK is actually pretty common.

Is there any possibility at all that you Oed even earlier than you think and that you could be pregnant??

Really?? Well if I'm not pregnant this month I will never use them again!! OPK's are so not worth the money, time or stress. I still don't know when I O'd lol

They're really not!!! People spend SO much time and energy trying to decipher the dang things and most of the time they raise more questions than they solve.
