A cautious hello! If this bean(s) stick ( ) I'll be due June 2nd. We did a light girl sway, with a last minute switch @ +OPK/follicle study day to trying for twins (2 mature follicles seen on ultrasound).

GL Everyone!!

You don't have to add my info at the top Two but I may jump in here with you guys. :) With a late May EDD I'm like the last person in March/April/May so most are farther ahead of me and I feel like I'm much closer in terms of pregnancy milestones to you ladies. If you don't mind me crashing in every once in a while!

Feel free to join! We all know pregs can go overdue... esp FIRST pregs and if you would feel more comfy here then you feel free to pitch a tent with the rest of us, lol. I'd love to add you though, if that's ok with you..

Debating signing up for those e-mail things that tell you about baby's development, size etc. I LOVE getting them.... but they are awful to get if you go through a loss. Salt in a massive wound. *sigh* And, is it just me or does 8 weeks seem like an eternity away (will you all get u/s at 8 weeks?)?

So how are you ladies feeling?

Welcome Bluebooties! I swayed blue too do I hope we both see little men in there!

Two - I know exactly what you mean. When I first was pregnant in February I downloaded like 5 apps and signed up for a ton of stuff only to end in a CP. This time around I waited for hcg confirmation and even then I was apprehensive. But, when I signed back on my old apps it still had me in Nov Due Date. :/ BUT - signing up for the May DD with a much more confident outlook was great!

I pray that CP is the only loss you will ever experience!!

I don't feel there is a "safe" point for me :( I've had one CP, lost 1 at 8 weeks and one at nearly 21 weeks :( Part of me want to say "Screw it I want to enjoy this preg as much as possible!" The other part wants to guard my heart as much as possible. It's like with announcing... part of me wants to celebrate it as much as possible with the ppl we care about and the other part dreads the not so happy announcement if things go wrong :( I WANT to feel optimistic, I really miss that pure joy of pregnancy, but I just feel like I am waiting for the other shoe to drop and I'll feel that way until the very end. Which pretty much sucks! It does get a bit better once I can feel baby and check on him/her/them with my doppler... at least that is how it was with my youngest's pregnancy. I was able to deal with my fear with a quick grab of the doppler and some cold gel, lol.

One thing I'm glad for is I've never liked coffee so I didn't have to worry about dropping it for anything! I rarely even drink pop, so lame. Are you going to do BW, Two?

So excited to be flipping over a new week today! One thing I hate though is the fluctuation of symptoms. Yesterday my nipples were SO SORE. This morning they're still sore, just not as bad as yesterday. I know that fluctuation is normal but I hate not knowing what's going on in there! Lol.

Also, those of you who have had kids before (TMI warning) I think constipation has caught up with me this morning. Then when I wiped there was a little light pink, but I think it's from that. When I did a quick swipe of CM it was still creamy/no pink. This ever happened to you guys?

Yeah that can be frustrating at first but you'll come to appreciate it if you have to deal with morning sickness.

Speaking of which, anyone else feeling queasy already? I've never had this issue this early on. It's not too bad just a strong ick feeling in the pit of my stomach.

Darn :( No BW for me. I called today about a progesterone test (knowing if he ordered that he'd order a beta too) since that is what I have been told to do since my progesterone was low with DD (and the way my temps keep diving I am worried about this LO too!). He just had a script called in. Yay that I don't have to wait and worry about the prog. Boo that I don't get betas lol. I was hoping it might give me some insight to how many are in there ;) Though prob not since my body seems to be an expert at HCG multiplication. With my first, the doc thought I was having multiples because they were increasing so rapidly (tripled in 48 hours) and with DD my number doubled in about 24 hours. Still.. darn! [emoji1]

ETA oh and I don't have to wait until 8 weeks to be seen!! My first appt is Oct 8th! About 2.5 weeks from now and I'll be 6 weeks!

Sorry missed your last paragraph when I read it last.

TMI WARNING!!
I have had constipation issues with ALL my pregs. If I don't take something to help me go I DON'T. Period. My first was the worst though. That preg gave me 'roids BAD because my doc was NO help so I either suffered or did daily enemas because all the stuff (like miralax) that was supposed to help just made me cramp something horrible but didn't help me go. So since then anytime I have a less than easy BM I spot a bit back there. It has freaked me out a few times during preg but wasn't anything to worry about. If it keeps up, ESP if you havent had a BM just before, I'd get checked out to be on the safe side but I think you are probably fine [emoji2]

So.. I guess I am done temping. I started the prog last night and taking it 2x a day would make my temps artificially high, so I don't really think there is a point to keep temping. Kinda glad the doc just decided to write the script. I was having some sharp, crampy pains last night and it was REALLY making me feel paranoid!! Cramps are gone now. Might be a coincidence, might not... I don't really care. I just feel better that they are gone.

We need some more ppl to get some BFPs! There are so few of us that it is REALLY quiet in here! I am used to all the chatter we get in the 2WW thread!

That's kinda what I am afraid of too. We has an u/s at 6 weeks last time, no heartbeat yet but growth right on track... then at our 8 week u/s no hb and baby had quit growing 2 days prior. So as much as I WANT to see bean asap it worries me that I wouldn't get another u/s prob until 12 weeks. Then I'll get 2 that week 1 @ specialists office and one in OB's office.

So glad you got the script, Two!! I've been worried about my progesterone as well, although at 10dpo it was at a 42 so I think things will be fine - hoping the Clomid gave us both some extra prog! I think my chemical in February was because of a LPD with low progesterone. I'm done temping as well - I think it would have just stressed me out more than I already am about this little bean!

My first appointment is October 8th too!! At 8am :). I am scared to death we'll get there and hear no heartbeat, but I'm thinking positive and imagining being there and seeing the bub and hearing him/her strong.

I have a lot more cramps in the AM or PM. They're kind of higher...corpus luteum?

Thanks for the info on BM, Two! Yes, it was scary, but nothing else happened yesterday the million times I wiped. I still go every morning when I wake up, it's just harder to go. So I'll start to eat some more fiber for sure!

And I have crazy ass dreams. Like last night I had a dream DH and I separated and I was dating Blake Shelton?! I don't even find him attractive lol! Really weird crap kept happening in it too. Any weird dreams from you guys??

Me too! My pains were kinda shooting up towards my ribcage! If it were the corpus luteum though I'd imagine they would feel similar to O pains...

Yay! Though my u/s will be a different day. My ins is rediculous and won't pay for an office visit and u/s in the same day unless I am seeing my high risk specialist or if there is a problem.

I had a weird dream last night but don't remember it anymore. Just remember waking up thinking "man, that was weird!" Lol. Lol @ your dream [emoji28]

Wow! Yeah, your pains sound a lot higher than mine. Mine just felt higher ovary area, kind of like during O/2WW. I wonder what would cause those super high up ones? Interesting.

What will you do your first visit then? Everything but u/s? Will you know whether you have one or two that day? So many questions! haha

After 4 pregs + 1 CP everything likes to get loose pretty early on. YOU likely won't feel round ligament pain until the 2nd or 3rd tri because your body is kinda just learning. After your first your body kinda knows what it's doing and tends to do so much earlier. So, likely it was something related to that... made me paranoid anyway though lol.

As far as my appt. It's pretty boring. I won't even see my OB that day, I'll see the nurse practitioner. She will basically just get all my info in the system (LMP, O date, how I am feeling. Last time she ordered bw to check my prog and a bunch of other stuff and put in an order to schedule me for u/s. And I get a folder of handouts and a couple prenatal vit samples. Like I said... boring lol. BUT I had JUST had a pap done less than a month prior. In the past, if it'd been awhile I also had to endure that during my first visit.

I missed a question lol. I *might* know the day of my u/s but I have read that a lot of twin mommies only see 1 bean until around 8 weeks... some even later. So if I only see 1 I am going to go with it but not necessarily believe it 100% until a later u/s :)

I keep wondering if I'm still feeling the little bean snuggle in tightly, or the placenta or somethigng happening in there! Today I had some weird feelings and I was like, "OMG, what if that's the heartbeat starting?!" Lol. I'm seriously crazy. Mine has mostly been linked to my uterus/ovary area. I know you can't physically feel those things, but it's interesting to think about. Does round ligament pain go all the way up to your ribcage?

Eww...that does suck with a boring first appointment. Bummer for sure. Will you at least get to make an u/s appointment for not too far away from Oct. 8th? (Like, the 12th lol!). I think it might be okay to go in early for work done. I feel like I'm just hanging on a thread as far as what the heck is going on in there. Wish I could have some reassurance that things are progressing, even with a little BW to check levels.

I think I started to get a little nauseous today - right after I ate some yogurt. It was not fun at all. And I'm exhausted right now (although it's been a busy day and I ate a crappy lunch). I'll feel better with some good nausea though to know things are picking up!

EDIT: Also, will you be getting a flu shot? Everyone is recommending it and we're doinng a free one here at work on October 8th so I'm sure I'll do it, just wanted more thoughts on getting them.

Ok.. lots to cover here... hopefully I get it all lol. If the pain is around your ovaries you could be feeling A: "after shock" as I call it... basically the same thing you feel from O-AF/BFP which I am not entirely sure what causes that  OR you could be feeling the muscles that hold your uterus stretch :) As far as whether round ligament pain generally feels like what I discribed... not typically but occasionally is can... though my pains LOVE to shoot/radiate/pierce elsewhere. My body is kinda weird like that lol.

Last time, and last time is all I can go by because 5-6 years ago when I was preg with my loss and then my youngest things were diff, I could have had it the very next day but got it 2 days later because I couldn't make it in the next day. This time I am REALLY debating if I want to do it so early. If they do the US and don't see a heartbeat I WILL panic! I wasn't expecting an u/s until 8 weeks so I am considering splitting the difference and doing 7 weeks if given a choice. Not sure yet though... I know am going to ask for another u/s between then and 12 weeks though. Given my high risk status they usually don't gripe too much about doing u/s... but again that was a LONG time ago so I don't know if they will or not :(

Get some preggie pops or preggie drops. The drops can be pretty sour, but they really worked with the mild MS I had with DD... never tried them with worse MS though. They even eased my overactive gag reflex!

And yes, I'll be getting a flu shot. It's far better to get the shot than the flu because there is so little us preggos can take.

Two - lol, sorry, sometimes I get to typing fast/a lot and there's just so much I want to ask! #firsttimemomma

I feel like mine is more painful if I try to roll over onto it at night or stretch out. Otherwise, during the day, I don't feel much at all. Not sure if it's the pressure or maybe it's a combination of a full bladder and rolling around? Who knows. I was slightly scared that I was experiencing ectopic symptoms, but I don't have any spotting/blood and no shooting pain. So hope not!

I know what you mean about the early u/s. Off my LMP they're thinking I'll be 7w5d on October 8th, but since I know date of conception I'll only be 7w3d. I'm sure the two days won't make too much of a difference. The weeks keep DRAGGING BY!

Bluebooties - I hope so as well for you and all of us! Is this your rainbow? First?

When it comes to HB, no 2 days won't make a huge difference in the 7th week. In the 6th week 1 day might as well be a week as far as whether you'll get to see the HB or not. In general though, your baby is developing so rapidly that 2 days will make a difference overall... but nothing worth stressing about and you wouldn't be able to tell a difference on u/s except by measurmentmeasurements :)

And ask away! :D I don't mind! I was on a forum with my first preg too (and my 2nd, 3rd... you get the picture lol) so once upon a time *I* was the one asking questions ;) Gotta pay it forward hehe.

You could but... I don't know that you'd definitely see something. I didn't at roughly 5 weeks with DS1 (they thought I was 10 weeks based on LMP).

As far as gender... it makes sense! I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised but I think odds of a blue singleton outrank my odds of pink and/or twins so I am just kinda hoping for pink but expecting blue, hoping for 2 but expecting one. The way I see it is it's better to be surprised than disappointed.

Fill us in if you do get the u/s!

Tatum- it did it AGAIN!!! :hair:

Here is short version of what I wrote:

You can but no guarantee you'd see much. Fill us in if you decide to get one!

Makes sense. That's basically what I am doing. Would love twins and/or girl but I think I have better odds on a blue singleton. So basically I am hoping for pink, expecting blue and hoping for 2 but expecting 1. I figure it's better to be surprised than disappointed.

Boooo!!

Nah, I was just kidding. I think I'd be too disappointed and just worry more than I already do! I'll just wait it out...two more weeks! I keep thinking this pregnancy isn't even real. Today at work I sat there and thought, "I'm not even pregnant," and then I worry it's just my motherly instinct telling me something is wrong. And then I remind myself I'm crazy, squeeze my boobs to make sure they're sensitive and think happy thoughts lol.

I'm hoping that there's two in there and both girls!! I can't wait to find out with you, two!!

Hi ladies! I've been so flat out busy the past couple days. Blue, glad to see you've officially joined us!!

Two, this is exactly me, too! Exactly. The toddler says two girls. I can't afford to believe him but I'm desperately hoping he's right haha.

I'm cramping every day--AF cramping is what it feels like. Sometimes it lasts for hours. Uncomfortable and makes me grumpy and short-tempered lol. But, no more spotting, which is good. The exhaustion hit yesterday out of the blue. It's been 8 years since I had a toddler while pregnant, and I think I just feel old. I don't have the luxury to rest on the couch like I want to, though. ;) And right now I can't tell if I'm nauseated or just hungry, but nothing sounds good. I'm definitely getting light headed if I don't eat often enough, though. Hope this doesn't mean I might have GD this pregnancy.

I'm 35 so if insurance will cover it, I will have one of those tests done (as long as it's not twins). I don't know what the difference is between the tests, though. I will ask my midwife which one she offers.

I am getting LOTS of AF crampies too.... makes me paranoid!! Hoping it's prog related. TMI but I have to "take" it vaginally to make sure all of it absorbs because of my tummy issues. I am hoping that's all it is. I can't remember if I felt the same with my DD (had to do the same with her). My chart from her preg does show lots of cramping though so....

I'm with you, Bee! NOTHING sounds good at all! Not even pizza! Lol. This morning I was starving so I ate a little granola bar and did not feel good after. I think the past few days I've had on/off nausea. Which would be better than constant!

Welcome ThreeLittleStars! I'm due at the of May too. I'm on March/April/May too, just a little closer in progress with you ladies.

Holy Hannah! Speaking of AF cramps. Today the are horrible!! I keep running to the bathroom to check because between the AF cramps and the pill, which has dissolved, escaping It feel like HARD CORE AF is in town. Has me paranoid to the Nth degree. I am 14 DPO today too so if I wasn't preg AF would be here VERY soon and THAT is seriously messing with my head. I just keep thinking all the tests are wrong and AF is gonna show... which I know is extremely unlikely but that doesn't stop my brain from thinking it. *sigh*

two, that's my fear, too--but the cramping is normal. I am still POAS. I got a nice dark line on my FRER today at 16dpo. Will post my progression in a few. Sometimes I am entirely at peace and others I'm just unable to relax. I feel mostly good this morning which doesn't help the paranoia. I've never been one to have bad morning sickness, though. Nausea mostly in the evenings and food aversions.

Threelittlestars, that's my thought, too--better to be at the start than the end ;) Welcome!

Bee - I wondered why those were yellow! So weird! Glad to see the progression you have! :) I did that for a while too - until my test line was darker than control line. Then I just figured I was driving myself bat shit crazy lol.

Two - I know what you mean to an extent! I remember around my AF I had a lot more creamy CM than normal and I kept rushing to the bathroom thinking it was AF. I'm sure with your suppositories that makes things even worse and even more going on down there! At least those things are worth all of the headache!

I have slight cramping on both sides - more on the right side, which makes me think egg imlanted on the right (I think I O'd from R as well). I keep worrying one side is a cyst. Or two eggs ha.

Lol. I don't think it'd be a cyst... corpus luteum would still be active until around 12 weeks though. So, it's possible that could be what you are feeling. 2 eggs aren't an impossibility either lol ;) :giggle:

Just popping in to say: Taytum, I had a corpus luteum (which the hospital referred to as a cyst) on my left ovary with my most recent pregnancy which was 4.3cm (aka huge). It was really annoying and the pain felt exactly the same as you have been describing. That's probably what's going on with you. So, it's nothing to worry about. It's just your body helping you have a good amount of progesterone to sustain your pregnancy. I hope this helps. :)

(We have been concerned about his count and making plans to get it checked) I think with it taking us longer this time around it made it that more exciting! I feel so blessed. I don't care boy or girl I am so thankful to be having a baby!!!!!

So, I called and touched base with my high risk specialist's office. Spoke with the geneticist. Definitely still planning to do the Harmony test @ 12 weeks as well as... I think she called it a nuchal fold screening?! She said we could still do the test if it's twins... it'd just be more complicated. As far as the gender portion she said it'd just be able to tell if we are having at least 1 boy because apparently they just screen for the "Y" chromosome for the gender portion. So basically if we are having twins and no "Y" is found it's a good indication of 2 girls but if a Y is found it could mean 2 boys or 1 boy and 1 girl. She also said that it's not 100% and that she has seen it be wrong before so "don't go buying all pink or blue" lol.

I just want next week to get here already. I am going out of my mind worrying. I NEED to see healthy HB(s) ASAP. Think I may ask to go ahead and ask if we can do it and if we don't see the HB then can we do a repeat about a week later. I don't know what they will say but it's worth a try. I just don't know how much longer I can take the anxiety and nightmares and I am hoping it eases up at least a little once I see a HB (or 2) going strong. I know I am not out of the woods at that point but I'm hoping it offers some kind of comfort. I have an appt with my OB about my dizzy spells (which can get pretty extreme) and sharper than normal cramps on Fri, but I'll only be 5 weeks 1 day so there in almost no chance, maybe even no chance at all, of seeing a HB even if they do an u/s that day. Trying hard to relax and be optimistic but so far I'm not having much luck. This is as bad as the 2WW :giggle: Come on clock! Move faster!!!!!!!

I know what you mean. That is so strange about the testing only testing boys. That a little early for a heartbeat though. Will that not worry you even more?? Ugh worry worry worry! It's never ending!lol

Blue, SO SO happy to hear that!!

Boyz, CONGRATS!!!

Two, I'm antsy as well. I'm just as worried that if I go early and don't see anything, it will be even more stressful, though. Decisions, decisions. I wish the next 2 weeks would fly by.

I spent my morning calling my insurance and the local hospital. I've had two home births but now that we have insurance I'm trying to figure out the difference in cost. I swear the insurance people don't know anything--they only repeat everything I can see on my own screen. And the hospital refused to tell me anything because too many variables (which I understand, but thanks for nothing!). So annoying. Oh well, another HB it is, then ;)

You mean at 6 weeks or tomorrow? I'm not expecting them to do one tomorrow, I was just saying that *IF* they did I wouldn't see anything. If you meant at 6 weeks, then if no HB then yes it will worry me, which is why I'll be asking for a repeat at 7 weeks if no HB is found. I just want to stop the madness. I hadn't told DH about the dreams because I didn't want to put that stress on him but this morning I woke up and he was freaked out. Kept asking "What's wrong???" Apparently I was tossing and turning and saying "No!" over and over last night. I still didn't want to tell him and just said "bad dream" but he kept pushing so I told him and he said "Oh... REALLY bad dream". I am just hoping maybe if I see a HB pumping away I might be able to relax a bit. I never got to see my DD's HB and I think that is adding fuel to the fire. I honestly don't know if I could worry more than I already am. I have some SERIOUS cramping going on ALL. THE. TIME. So during the day I am constantly worried and then nightmares at night so I never get a break. This is my 5th preg (that made it past 4 weeks) and I have NEVER cramped as much or as hard as I am this time. And maybe if they do the u/s and there are two beans in there the cramping will make more sense and I'll be able to relax about that as well. It's all guessing and hoping but it's all I've got :(

With my 3 births (2 c/s, 1 induced stillbirth VBAC) they costed around $10,000 for everything from office visits to hospital stay. HB is MUCH cheaper w/o insurance but don't know what the difference would be WITH your insurance. If they pay 80% then based on MY bills you'd pay around $2,000. HTH.

I think I have to go into it expecting them not to reimburse us for anything HB related, but it seems like if they will reimburse anything (and it will probably take a lot of fighting to make that happen), we might get anywhere from a few hundred to a bit over a grand back. Better than nothing, for sure.

I definitely feel pregnant now. So weird how one day makes such a difference. HELLO road maps on the BBs! Wowzers. SUPER bloated at night too. My levels were twin high with DS2.

Two, I hope you get some relief soon. I hate worrying like that. I just think it's twins. :)

So... I am in the hospital. Ended up back in the ER last night and they admitted me. They did an u/s and there is one normal pregnancy and one appears to be outside the uterus (they won't let me see u/s, so just going by what they are saying). I've done a lot of crying but can't get anymore info until the doctor gets here. I am praying that the one that appears to be ouside of the uterus was just an angle issue because the tech did say he was having trouble due to me being so early on. I just don't know. I'm scared :(

I talked to the nurse a bit ago ( new one the others didn't say anything). She said that my OB disagreed with the ER doctor and thinks there is only one... the ectopic one. I guess when I asked him about the other one and he went with it I either threw him off, he didn't catch it or he hadn't actually seen the u/s yet. I asked the nurse to ask when she talks to him if she could also ask if he plans to do another u/s (so I know if I have to argue my case) and what his plan is (d&c, tube removal, etc.). But... yeah. Looks like the ER doc mispoke and it's just 1.

I guess the ONE thing that *might* come out of this nightmare is the fact that I am pretty sensitive to abnormalities so I knew, as I told DH last night "something is wrong, something is different. .. something is going on because this isn't normal". So we caught it early so I might stand a chance of saving my tube and even if not at least it probably won't rupture on me.

Pain is worse today :( Got morphine shot in IV and still yelping like a dog. It's like getting stabbed. No warning. Then after getting stabbed "they" wiggle the knife. I feel better for a few seconds and then wham, get stabbed again.

I'm NPO so nothing to eat or drink so I'm starving ( now that Ive been given anti-nausea meds) and thirsty on top of it. And there is a nurse... she is nice but I swear she bathed in her perfume. It nauseatingly strong.

Having surgery in about an hour :(

Just wish the pain would stop :( (Took me 15 mins to type this post!!)

Honestly. .. I feel like I'm broken. A miscarriage, a CP and noe an ectopic all in 4 months time. I feel like we'll never get our rainbow and all we have to look forward to is more loss. I want to try again but I am just not sure my heart could handle another loss. I just don't know where or how to go on from here. That being said, this is a due date thread and I no longer have one. This is supposed to be a happy thread and now, thanks to me and my nightmare, it's not. I just don't want to keep others from celebrating THEIR good news and I am because it seems like everyone is trying to be sensitive to me, which is sweet, but not what I want. I want you all to bask in the joy of your pregnancy. Enjoy and celebrate every second of it.

I'm so sorry that you've experienced so much loss this year, two. My heart breaks for you. Please give yourself as much time as you need to grieve <3.

I'm having lower left pain (I'd describe it as dull at this point, but it's been constant for 4 hours and doesn't go away) and at first I thought maybe it's RL pain, but now I'm starting to see streaks of pink/red and a couple of flecks of brown in my CM this evening. This does not bode well. In the morning I'm going to see which OB my midwife recommends and see if they're willing to let me come in for an u/s this week. I will only be 6w on Tuesday but they should see a sac if it's uterine, right?

Bee i am sorry to hear that, when i had my bleeding thing i too thought of ectopic as one of the causes. For me usg was not a sound option at 4w 2days so they did hcg only. Apparantly in an ectopic hcg plateaus instead of doubling.
But for u at 6w they should see something on transvaginal sonogram

I don't know anything about plateauing but with mine my hsg was bouncing up an down. It was 5008 then 4,900 something a few hours later and 24 hours after that it was 6,000.

Yes the quality of hcg doubling every 48 hours is characteristic feature of an intrauterine pregnan.cy anything that isnt doubling every 48 hours (or basically hovering about a certain level) consistantly on serial tests is not intrauterine

I've had lower back pain during pregnancy... but never rib pain this early. Any chance it's gas pain? If you have a lot of gas it can cause pressure on the diaphragm (the sheet of skeletal muscle separating your abdominal organs from your heart and lungs) and it feels a lot like rib pain.

I don't feel overly pg either Boysboys. I think I'm about 5 weeks (not too sure!) nursing has been agony for the last 3 weeks and I need to wee more frequently. Apart from that nothing else too noticeable. I'm exhausted but my toddler isn't a great sleeper either.

I feel pretty good overall at 7 weeks. Morning sickness seems to come in waves so sometimes I just don't want to get up and other times (like now!) I feel fine. I find I don't really have food aversions except NOTHING sounds good. At all. And if I am craving something and I get it, it doesn't taste nearly as good as I thought it was going to. Ugh.

I have my first u/s on Thursday. Praying for a strong heartbeat!

TaytumJ
October 6th, 2015, 10:00 AM
Boyz - if AF isn't due for another four days, I remember Atomic telling someone once that it's almost impossible to get a darker line when your HCG is probably low already anyway. I would wait until the 9th and test again - your line should be considerably darker by then. But if you're testing every day (especially on those tests) you probably won't notice a difference with just 48hrs time.

Today, I feel really good. I'm actually craving food (pizza, mexican and Munchies!) and the thought of some food doesn't make me want to vomit (lettuce/greens in particular). My u/s is Thursday, but of course, my What to Expect app had a link about missed miscarriages. Ugh. I need to STAY OFF the interwebs until Thursday. I'm just worrying I won't see a heartbeat or I'll measure a week behind or something.

Not necessarily. For one, are you comparing a wet test to a dry test? That never goes well. For two, sometimes a bean is just a slow grower, and everything will be just fine... esp if AF isn't even due yet. Any doubling rate up to 72 hours is considered okay. Test again after the 72 hour mark and the test will likely be darker. FX that you just have a slow growing bean in there!!

Tests can vary with the amount of dye in them and also the strength of your urine can affect them too. If you're still three days away from af then it's great that you're seeing a line. The pic isn't loading for me, but as the others have said, keep testing and fingers crossed you'll get a good strong line. It's always worrying though isn't it? ((hugs))

Put simply... like crud in a crap basket. That methotrexate sapped all my energy and I haven't gotten it back yet, and my insides feel like they've been used as punching bags. The worst part by far though is the gas. They pumped me up for the lapro surgery and I've been living on Gas-x trying to get rid of it but it seems to be far too happy pushing on my diaphragm and making my ribs ache and my stomach hurt. I can barely even eat. I eat a couple bites and I feel completely stuffed. A week doesn't seem like it's going to be enough and starting Friday I have to go back to normal routine :(

Thank you <3 I'm not 100% that it was in a tube... the OB said it appeared to be based on u/s... but, and I take this with a grain of salt since I was highly drugged(I actually thought i imagined it for awhile but I can't shake it), I swear I heard someone tell me it wasn't in my tube. So I won't know for sure until I talk to my OB. The only thing certain is it was a failing preg that was outside the uterus. Anyway, to answer your question the left side was the affected side.

I don't know when we can try but, given the methotrexate injection, others have said 3 months but I haven't talked to my OB yet. Next cycle for sure I think is out..

No. The ER treated me like a know nothing drug seeker last time until they saw the u/s (which I wasn't allowed to see). Also, I can't go until I get the kids off to school and by then I'll only have an hour or 2 until I can call/go to my OBs office (I can call at 8 which is about 30 mins after my youngest gets on the bus, but nurses and docs don't show until 9) and I'll have answers in under an hour more than likely. If I go to the ER I'll have to go thru the same mumbo jumbo I did last time (an hour or 2 to see the doc, followed by another hour or 2 before blood work comes back, at least an hour to get an u/s and then another hour or more before I see the doc again... it took 6 hours to get an answer last time!) and get results HOURS later than if I go to the OBs office (and I'll be able to see the u/s if they do one at my OBs office). Waiting is the fastest way to get answers.

Nope, not gas. Feels like someone is playing psychotic surgeon on my left side just like last time :(

Going to call the OBs office as soon as they open and try to get in asap. They are usually pretty good about working in emergency situations quickly (bleeding during preg, etc.).

I'm really scared because if what I think I heard in my drugged up, just-coming-out-of-anesthesia-haze, about the pregnancy not being in my tube is true then where the hell is it? Did they find it? Is that why they gave me methotrexate? Because they couldn't find it?? I have been having these pains here and there since surgery (except for a day or two) but they were few and far between ( a few a day... maybe??) so I didn't worry about them. Just assumed they were "phantom pains" or something. But now they are every 20 mins or less just like before surgery and pain killers don't touch them just like the morphine did nothing just before surgery :( I took DH to work this morning so I could have the van to go in and he works *literally* 4 mins from home (I've timed it) and in the 8 mins it took to get him to work & us back home I had 3 pains and strong ones at that. I'm a little shocked I didn't wreck... not looking forward to the drive to the doc's office but if I take the back way so I can go good and slow I should be okay.

I've got about 10 mins before I can call and I swear time is going backwards. I used some time this morning to get cleaned up in case I land BACK in the friggin hosp (God I hope not!!). They were good about letting me shower last time but I don't know if I just got lucky with my nurse.. I've had issues in the past. I took a shower yesterday so it's not like I was gross but I would feel that way by tonight(and who wants leg stubble in a hosp gown :giggle:. I'm still PREGNANT!!!! NO JOKE!!! AND my beta went from 4,935 on Saturday morning to 11,000 yesterday when I took my blood test (doubling time= 71.78 hours so BARELY on the cusp of normal). For a moment when I saw the bean In THE UTERUS (wasn't there a few days ago btw!!) my heart leapt. I thought "my bean was strong enough to beat it all!!" but then my mind immediately went to the methotrexate :( Bean is JUST a gest sac and yolk sac and is measuring 5w 2d (I would be 5 weeks 6 days by ovulation... but i guess its possible this bean didn't implant until 4 days after the first... right??) with no fetal pole. Doctor told me to immediately start taking my multi vitamins again in hopes of stopping the methotrexate in it's tracks (*IF* this could be a viable pregnancy) as folic and other vitamins diminish it's effectiveness. BUT I am not holding my breath on this one. Even the OB (who said he was baffled btw, lol... leave it to me to stump the doc!) said not to get my hopes up. He had me schedule and u/s for next week and I already have orders for BW on Saturday. He said we'd know more then. So, thus begins the LONGEST week of my life!!

As far as the pain, my left ovary has a hemorrhagic cyst and is adhered to something (not sitting quite right in there) but I was told this won't cause any issues getting preg in the future, assuming this preg is doomed as suspected.
