Hi ladies! I haven't been around in a while but I'm back and ready to start ttcing possibly next month, ahh! Turning 36 and this would be my fourth baby. If I do get pregnant I would like to remain team green :). I've never intentionally swayed boy before though so I guess I'm just more comfortable in the swaying for a girl forum, haha. Plus I think I want to do a mild girl sway anyway.

My question is, do the months you conceive in sway at all? I would be starting to try in October and I remember that being a heavy boy month. Which is fine, I conceived my sweet boy during that month 8 years ago! :). Just wanted to see if that theory still holds true. Without knowing it, I was doing lots of other things that swayed boy with him also

I will probably try between like October 5th and the 10th. Will dtd three times...the day I get a positive Opk and twice the day after. Sort of a frequent release method, but not really, I know, lol. I basically did this when I conceived my second DD. Either this or just dtd once the day I get my first positive opk. Depends on what we have time for and what's going on those days. But I will have him release and then I will insert the sample so that I can control my ph better.

I will then insert a little bit of rePhresh right after.

I have a ton of (expired) opk strips that I'll use. Or maybe I'll pick up some that aren't expired, lol

I do plan on losing like 5 lbs, and get down to like 108, increasing my dairy, no red meat, skipping breakfast, reduce salt, and I'm always all about yoga and low stress ;). I work out a lot so will continue that. I do spin 6 days a week followed by yoga. I won't do any additional strength training with weights or body weight though. So I guess sort of a mild girl sway?

Just hoping to have one more sweet little one to complete our family.

Thanks so much!!

HI again my friend. :)

Months may sway a teensy bit but it's in no way a magic bullet. I got my girl in the "boy months" so I wouldn't worry about that.

Newer results have shown that one attempt is best for a girl. So my advice would be to stick with one. Our success rates drop from 70-75% with one attempt, to 60% with 2 attempts, all the way down to about 45% with three (and this is in spite of other sway tactics). So while it is possible to get a girl with 3 attempts, I don't recommend doing that. One attempt at pos OPK is working good for us.

pH wasn't getting it done for us at all so most of us have given up on it (and our success rates actually went UP after that). If you want to do pH stuff that's fine, I'd not use anything AFTER attempt though, only beforehand so it has a chance to get into all the nooks and crannies before the swimmers do. We are using RepHresh 8, 12, or 24 hours before (sooner = lower odds of conception)

If you still believe in calcium (which I don't any more after getting my 4th boy taking tons of it and my girl without any cal supps or dairy) then please use cal/mag supps and not dairy foods which are laden with lots of other nutrients. YOu may as well take a prenatal vitamin (currently at 80% success for BLUE) as drink all that milk with all those nutrients in it.

Salt isn't working and we have practically all given up on that and success rates went up when we did.

Hi atomic! Thanks so much for your response. Wow I'm really out of the loop. Haha. Didn't end up trying in October but hoping to in the next few months. Right now, sick with a cold, blah. Thanks again!! Xoxoxo
