Hi ladies,

I've been on the LE diet for just over 5mths and am feeding my little boy who's just turned one. (Don't know where that time went!! 😱 ) I've only had one AF since which was on the 2nd Sept. However I think I ovulated on day 20-21 of my cycle which seems quite late? It's normally a 28 day cycle, so technically would of missed AF if I was on time, but I think feeding is throwing my body out of wack?
I've just been doing the every four days TTC as j couldn't be stressed worrying about timing.
However now I'm just thinking when do I actually do a pregnancy test? Should I just wait 14 days from when I think I ovulated?
I'm not to stressed about timing but just don't want to keep consuming alcohol for too long if it's not safe :)
Also if you do ovulate late is there still enough time for the egg to stick?
Thanks!!

It can take a few months before your cycle regains its normal schedule. You can do a hpt 14 days after you think you ovulated. Late ovulating doesn't affect implantation in any way!

Thanks!!!! With my first little boy it returned like clockwork but this time lots has changed I guess! I'll just relax and do a test next week.

ovulating day 20-21 is still in normal range. Not late at all

YOu have to tack 14 days on to when you ovulated. If you O late, you get AF late (unless LP is short which is two totally unrelated issues, one can have late O and short LP or either one alone)

I'd wait 14 days from when you think you Oed and then every 7 days thereafter.

And yes if you O late, you will generally still have 12-14 day LP, plenty of time for an egg to stick. The two things are unrelated, you can have late O with normal LP, or short LP - the two don't come hand in hand

Thanks Atomic!!!! Who knows maybe I did catch this first egg since breastfeeding with AF. Time will tell ☺ Oddly I'm enjoying all these vegetarian meals lol.
