View Full Version : So how important is position?

I admit I kind of ignored the position stuff and just read atomic's essay on it today. Last night we dtd with me on my belly but not on my hands and knees just laying flat (would that be considered doggy style?). I could really tell if the release was shallow or not but I flipped over to my back and laid there (propping hips a bit) for about 3 minutes. Got up and wiped a little bit. Then went to bed. My husband doesn't want to know when I'm ovulating or when our attempts are so I kind of just went with the flow and had fun.

It's fine and doesn't matter. We have seen boys and girls conceived in all different positions and while the official story is that from behind is supposed to sway blue I feel like that is often shallow release (unlike full doggy).
So positions make little to no difference anyway, and that position was probably fine too. :agree:

I had this convo with a friend yesterday dreamingofpink.. And her mum is adamant that both her girls were conceived from behind. Both my boys were missionary too so I'm gonna try from behind too! Ive got a tilted cervix anyway so have read it can help! Xx

I've got two boys, one conceived doggy style and one on my belly from behind. If only it were as easy as "switch positions" haha

I have a hard time believing position sways at all. That pH stuff they sell over on IG just doesn't jive with me, it's like they "fixed" it to work after Shettles was debunked.
Having said that, my DD was missionary and my DS was full doggy (atomic you've coined a new term, LOL).
