So I have an urgent question and I apologize if it’s been ask before. Vitex has messed up my cycle so I’m dropping it. I thought I was O two days ago (OPK was neg but I had the symptoms) so DH and I had our attempt. However, OPK is now positive a little over 48 hours later. Should I have another attempt, or stick with the one from 2 days ago? UGH I’m starting to feel pressured, like I can’t mess this up.

Info about me…Since I already have 4 boys getting BFP is def not as important as important as sticking to my Girl sway in general. I’m starving on this diet and I don’t know how much longer I can be on it, but willing to go another month if I have to. BMI is 19, been on the diet since July 31 and I have lost 15 pounds.

Any feedback is helpful! Thanks :)

Do you know when you usually O after your +opk? I personally don't O till around 3 days after my first +opk so in my case I would for sure have another attempt, but if you usually O soon after your +opk then I wouldn't add another attempt. Do you temp too?

I'd have another attempt 4 days after your first attempt just in case you O late. Are you having enough Cals on the diet? You can add another meal if you need it. Hang in there xx

I think I answered this in a different thread already.

YOu shouldn't be starving on the diet. If BMI is 19 it is time to UP cals and hold steady. Don't lose an ounce more, you are just right. YOu have to let go of the idea that it's "ALL OR NOTHING" either you do it really strict or drop it. just gradually loosen up. I see too many people just drop diet when there is sooo much room to loosen up while still swaying pink.

If pink is more important to you than BFP, you would hold steady with the attempt until 4 days past prev attempt. Better odds of conception would be attempting again. I don't know what the right thing to do is, and if you aren't sure and can't decide, flip a coin and do what the coin says.
