OPK attempt dilemma!

Hello.. After a bit of advice! I did an opk yday CD9 as I had a glob of EWCM and there were 2 fair lines so ive tested agin today and it's a blazing positive. My urine was quite dilute too! Now the last 2 months I have ovulated 2 days after my positive OPK, I last BD on Saturday morning so it's only 3 days and I'm trying to at least go every 4 days with one attempt at positive opk. Do I have my attempt tonight despite it only being 3 days or brave it and attempt tomorrow night?

So typical that this would happen when I have been planning it for the weekend!

Also worth mentioning I took my first vitex supp this morning before I did the opk.. Not sure if that will affect the result?

I'd stick with the one method, to be honest. If you're doing every 4th day, I'd try to wait until a Wednesday. It's difficult but really should stick with one method OR the other. Bear in mind the swimmers stick around for a while x

How often do people have sex doing one attempt outside of the fertile window? That's what I find confusing so I won't have sex any less than 4 days but have tried to time my attempt well at the same time! Is that wrong I am still new to all this! X

It depends on how long you've been trying and how big a hurry you're in to get pregnant.

Best sway - stick with attempt you already had and wait till 4th day. Best odds of conception - have another attempt.

If you can't make your mind up, flip a coin.

I don't quite follow your first question but if you're doing the every 4 days (which is ALWAYS one attempt in fertile window, really), it can be helpful to stop doing OPK and just hang with the every 4 days attempts. That way you just have to trust htat eventually you will have a well timed attempt.
