So, this is weird. As most of you know, we've been actively TTC and swaying pink for 3 months now. This past cycle, af arrived 2 days early, at 12dpo. At first I thought it was just spotting and remained hopeful, but it quickly turned from spotting to medium flow for 2 days. It was definitely heavy enough for a tampon, but nowhere close to my normal flow.

Now, after 3 days all traces of af are suddenly gone - no spotting at all. This is VERY weird for me. AF normally lasts about 7 days for me when you include spotting days. The other weird part is that though my temp has gone down, it has stayed right at or above last month's coverline the whole time (though it was a pretty low coverline so maybe my temps last month were too erratic to be accurate). I also had no cramping at all this time other than a couple cramps 2 days before af arrived (which of course I thought was a pregnancy symptom) - normally I'm crampy for days before and during af.

There's no chance I'm actually pregnant, is there? I just took an ic and got a BFN (I didn't want to waste a FRER on this since I think the chances of a BFP are extremely low). If that wasn't actually a period I had, I would be 15dpo right now. My biggest worry is that if I am pregnant, I shouldn't be taking the Vitex and Saw Palmetto I've been taking the past 3 days. Should I trust in that BFN today and just assume my body chemistry is changing from all the swaying?

Take another test tomorrow morning to be sure but I think itīs just because your hormonal balance has changed.
It is what we want to happen but when it happens it is scary, at least to me it is!
My cycle is acting weird every month as well, my temps stayed high on coverline level last cycle, plus I had spotting 3 days after O this month.
I really hope this will soon be over for all of us..

I agree that your hormones are different. I would prob. test again today just to be on the safe side (I have paranoia since I swayed when I was actually preggo, but I didn't take a test, I relied on AF...if I had tested it would almost certainly have been positive.) I've seen enough episodes of "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant to know you can get a negative test and be pg.

I think that since your temp has gone down the odds are slim to none that you're pg. remember, with temps it doesn't matter what happened last month, it's your temps in relationship to the day(s) before that counts.

Thanks, atomic - I should have updated earlier, but I started to spot again later that day, and af started again with light flow the next day. I'm still spotting today. I did end up testing one more time just to be sure, and it was a BFN. I took one day off from the SP and Vitex, but now I think it's safe to go back on it.

My sister had 2 boys then a girl. When my cycles were all mixed up she told me hers were all over the place before she got pregnant with her daughther (she did not sway) and with the boys they had been very normal, regular etc. Just thought that might be good to know!

Boo to BFN but at the same time, I'm glad that things are a little more obvious as to what is going on.

I often had on again, off again periods like that when I was a teenager and that is when my cycles were unpredictable.
