Have I ruined my chances this month?

DH has been abstaining for the last 7 days and going off my OPK's I am probably going to O in the next day or two... but last night DH got carried away and we DTD but right before he finished he pulled out... so now, he has screwed up the abstaining part of the sway and I am not sure if actually DTD will sway more blue now because he released?

Can we salvage this month or would it risk swaying blue too much? keep in mind that I am not really doing the diet, I eat similar to it anyway but I am not really following it.

I don't see the abstaining for long periods recommended much. It's more important the number of times he releases inside of you. So I would just dtd soon. You didn't ruin anything. Most people are getting girls with one attempt in the fertile window.

1 attempt, diet and exercise for 12 weeks or longer seem to be what is recommended. Abstaining and frequent release are no longer used much. I'd just wait and give it 1 try at pos opk.

I agree with the other ladies, go for it and don't worry about frequency of release. I think Atomic has said before that the one attempt is more important.

The abstain doesn't matter much (statistically it's been only so-so) I would seriously consider sticking with this one attempt if you O within the next 1-2 days though. Not doing the diet, it means that if at all possible to stick to one attempt, I'd try to keep that going as long as you can stand it.

If O comes like 4 days from now, have another attempt. If 3, and you can't decide, flip a coin and do what the coin says.

no I havent had another attempt, I will wait another 4 days and if its still in the fertile window we will DTD once more :) Thanks atomic for the advice
