So I never got yeast infections with my boys or in general. I have a small one and am 4 weeks. Is this a sign of a girl? Hahaha.

Awwwww man! I was hoping something good would come with this. ;) are there any legit old wives tales? Like I know moms pregnant with girls have a higher chance of HG.

There is a slightly higher level of HCG in female pregnancies but please understand that is ON AVERAGE. It is like height - on average, most men are taller than most women, but in reality there are tons and tons of taller women and shorter guys and no one can tell on the basis of HCG levels what gender their baby is. And as for odds of hyperemesis (which is caused by high levels of HCG, it's believed) they have done studies and found only a 3% difference between boy and girl pregnancies. Meaning that 47% of all HG pregnancies are BOYS. 53% girls. This is barely different than would be statisticaly expected anyway. Please do not use levels of sickness as a guideline, because morning sickness (not HG) was also studied and there was no correlation found. Many of us has less sickness with our girls, not more. I was barely sick with my daughter and my second son. Sick as heck with my other three boys.
None of the old wives tales work in any reliable way. And certainly not at 4 weeks. Boys and girls, hormonally, are identical at this point. THe Y chromosome is dormant, not making testosterone until the 10th/11th week at the earliest. Just doesn't work. :)
