So I just had my blood results back as I thought I had low progesterone due to several symptoms as well as low BBT And my BBT tails off from about 8dpo as opposed to a sharp drop a couple of days prior to AF. I was told this was normal on here but most people I talk to get a sudden dip right at the end which made me wonder.. Anyway.. Has anyone been treated for low progesterone? will they do it through my GP or will I need referring to a fertility clinic? It wasn't massively low (I don't think) the result was 27 and I think they like to see 30 and above to confirm ovulation. My charts would indicate im ovulating but would it just affect implantation etc if it were low? Or am I not ovulating despite a short-lived thermal shift?

Any help or advice greatly appreciated!

If you're getting AF every month you are ovulating. Both your charts are ovulatory. If your LP is usually at least 10 days long you do not need to be treated, and your chart last month your LP was 12 days, this month you are already 10 DPO.

This is one test in one month and it is barely low. I seriously doubt they would treat you for this.

Thanks atomic, I was getting AF monthly previously and definitely wasn't ovulating prior to starting thyroid meds, but I do think I am now. I wonder if my lining isn't too favourable maybe?

Time will tell; will see what the doctor says next week. I want to take clomid again but had better not if they plan on re-taking bloods as would affect the results.

Will keep you updated! X

Well, thyroid changes things, for sure. Sorry it is impossible for me to keep everyone straight and I can only go off info in the thread. :)

All I can report is that as a general rule, it's pretty unusual to get bleeding regularly by the month and not be ovulating. Most of the time, AF in a reasonable length cycle = ovulation

Please keep us updated because it is the unusual experiences that really help me learn how to help others in the same boat. Very much appreciate it!

Good luck and FX for BFP SOON!!
