Okay so when I started ttc in August I started drinking Fertilitea. It has regulated me and I have cut it back to only drinking it from cd1 to O has been confirmed. This time around it caused me to O a few days earlier but I'm not complaining. I wanting to know your thoughts on it and if it sways girl.

The tea is organic and contains only:

• Chasteberry (vitex)
• Red raspberry leaf
• Green tea
• Ladies mantle
• Nettle leaf
• Peppermint leaf

There are ingredients in Fertilitea that sway both pink and blue and it has messed up the cycles of many who used it (in a bad way!). I don't tend to recommend it for people because of that, but if it's helping make your cycles regular then to me it may make some sense to continue with it. If at some point you find that your O starts to be delayed, then you'd stop it at CD 14 or positive OPK whichever ocmes first.

That's what I did last month and this month was waited until a pos opk and then stopped drinking it. I was having months that I wouldn't even O until I started the tea.

The way that the herbs work is that anyone who is not ovualting because of PCO-tendencies (and you can have the tendency even without having PCOS that is diagnosable), this is because of too high hormone levels messing up the development of eggs. Cycles very long, super short LP, cysts, weak ovulation etc. So the herbs can lower those hormone levels and help those people have more regular cycles. But many, many other people have the opposite problem which is low hormone levels interferign with ovulation and when they, or people who have normal levels and regular ovultion, do the herbs, it can cause them to stop ovualting all together. So it's kind of a crapshoot - I'm glad it's helping you, it's just that is why I am wary of the stuff - for every one person teh herbs seem to help, there are 8-10 others they cause huge trouble for. :)
