Hi there
I have what seems like a very unusual nub on this scan pic and none of the other sites seems to be able to guess - please can you try
It's definately not the textbook boy nub in fact I can't say I've seen one looking like this in any of the millions of pics I have seen online either

Desperately need support also if you can tell me how you interpreted it I would be so grateful
This was taken at 14+5 thanks so much xxx

Much appreciated mandyp85 I'm driving myself crazy with this staring at US pics and nubs:think:

That nub looks slightly more girly but there is a shadow above it which again I would think of as stacking so would give a boy lean from this pic as well, not as confident a guess as from your other pic tho.

Will you be finding out?

Thanks again Mandy I'm totally in two minds whether to find out
Not sure whether finding out now and its a girl and being disappointed is better than waiting for the big surprise
Am torturing myself :(

Yes I think the picture is a little bit cutoff right where the goods are.

I give a tentative blue lean. I think the 12+5 shot is too early to guess.

The 12 week one looks girly, but there might be a shadow on top of nub, your 14 week one looks boyish. Any more pics? FX for boy!

The 14 week is tricky for gender. I almost want to say girl, but I really am not sure at all.

I've got to say that my last pregnancy I was convinced I was having another boy, hadn't had it confirmed but my nub shot was all boy so deep down I knew and yet I found it hit me really hard when he was born, I was not prepared at all and I found it quite difficult at first to bond with him (very sad I know as he was perfectly healthy and I love him dearly) but with my current pregnancy I have already found out I'm having another boy (he was not shy in showing his bits to us even tho I didn't want to know what we are having) and I must say I've come to terms with it already. I think when you want a certain gender you carry that hope with you all the way to the end (if you're team green) and for me I found it was easier to have that hope taken away before meeting our baby, that way he will have me at my best and happiest, which my alfie didn't get as I was sad, I will always feel guilty about that. If you find out before baby is here you get to "grieve" for the child you aren't having or if it is a boy then its all good anyways. Anyway sorry for the rant lol just thought I would give you my opinion :-)

Thanks atomic sagebrush really appreciate it
I guess I know in my heart of hearts it's another girl
I didn't think of that (as in bits of pic cut off) so thanks thought I had a weird nub

the way the ultrasound pics work is that there are angles that they use where only part of the body is showing and I think the lower part is just angled/shadowed out of existence. it doesn't mean it isn't there, just that it's not showing. :)

I did feel like I wouldn't be bothered once baby was born whilst I was pregnant but the reality was completely different, I guess I didn't realise how much I wanted another girl until he was born. But I can say even tho I was sad at the time he has been a wonderful addition to our family. Good luck with whatever decision you make and please keep us updated :-)

One of my boy nubs was similar to your 12 week. I think there might be part we can't see. I still think boy, good luck!

Thanks 3'sacharm I really hope so I have my next scan on Monday just hoping I can see something definitive
At 16+5 is it still a nub or a girl or boy bit so to speak does anyone know?
Just wondering whether its worth asking the sonographer to have a quick gander?

No harm in asking I guess

I had my gender scan at 16 weeks and he said it's quite clear at 16 weeks suppose it depends on the baby's position. I am going to guess boy [emoji4]
