 DH would throw me out of the house if he would see this..he is not a frequent releaser at all, he is happy DTD twice a month and now that we´re TTC-ing often it is difficult for him to ´perform´ :worry:
Before the LE diet and saw palmetto we had a inverted sex drive..
For this reason and physical caratteristics I think he has low testosteron, does this automatically mean his sperm count is low?

You know I don't think I've seen this asked before so I'm really curious to see the answers!
Has he always been this way? Was your BD pattern like that (2x a month) when you got pg with the boys? When you say before LE you had inverted sex drive do you mean his was higher and yours was lower than it is now? Or that yours was higher than his then too?
Just from googling around it does seem that yes, low sex drive is a sign of low testosterone, which can also be linked to low sperm count ... but like anything else, just bc it is a sign doesn't mean it is necessarily the case in your situation. I think the only way to know would be to get him tested.

Thanks begonia, yes he has always been this way, I used to take the initiative a lot more and would want to DTD more often than he did. Come to think if it, this may have been because my testosteron was probably higher than it is now and maybe higher than his.
Since the LE diet and Saw palmetto my libido has practically disappeared..so now him not wanting to DTD isn´t a big problem for me but it is if you want to get pregnant..
When we conceived our boys he would be a lot more interested (and more often) because we stopped using condoms which spiced up things for him. When we conceived them we DTD a couple of times a week I think.
I have to say that he is improving now lol, this is our third month TTC and it seems that when we DTD more, his libido rises, it´s just that his body doesn´t cooperate always..

It doesn't necessarily, but it's a pretty good indicator. The only way to truly know would be to have him tested as begonia says, but honestly, since you are trying for a girl anyway, I wouldn't waste the money.
On a couple of the other threads, some of us who have boys were comparing notes and some of our husbands release EVERY day and sometimes 2 times.
Unfortunately, for anyone reading this who wants a boy and is wondering if being treated for low T will help raise their sperm count, the medications and hormone treatments that raise testosterone are STILL terrible for sperm, so it's better to focus on raising T thorugh diet and lifestyle changes rather than pharmaceuticals.

Interestingly, I find that to be true for myself as well. When I don't DTD very much I have like no libido, but when I make the effort to DTD regularly, I can almost always get into the mood very quickly. Maybe there is more to testosterone going up when DTD than I gave it credit for!!!

I agree with your last comment Atomic. I'm happy to go without for quite a long period of time really but I felt bad for DH having to take care of himself so often during the leadup to our attempt (though I really don't think he minded!) that I was far more receptive to him waking me up (he always comes to bed after me) and even offering up my services, that I got quite into it in the end!

When we conceived the boys my diet was so very boy friendly and my T obviously high that DH´s -hypothetical- low sperm count had no change to sway pink. Thanks Atomic.
Interesting queen of harts. I guess I don´t want DH to get too excited about TTC then lol
