Hi atomic - I bought a plan and my time just ran out. I thought it was no big deal because I was pregnant. However, I'm having a miscarriage. Thought I was 6 weeks, 4 days (based on an early pregnancy test and ovulation tracking). Went for an ultrasound and just saw a sac that measured 4 weeks. No cramping yet but some bleeding.
How does this impact my sway? Can I start trying again? I'm so bummed because I did 5-6 months of the cardio and le diet (well I was always over my limits but close). When I got pregnant, I stopped my cardio. Do I restart the cardio? It will be so hard to do this winter or fall. Should I just do le and couch potato it? I haven't done cardio in about 4-5 weeks right now,
I should add, I'm dealing with this pretty well emotionally. It just makes me want another baby.

Wishing you the best! We're in same situation, I'm starting all over and won't be trying till around April or May also started birth control. I don't gain weight on them so I'm okay with it. I recently dropped to 113 pounds and don't think major cardio is okay 6 days a week so I'm confused about it

I would just pick up where you left off, do what your heart tells you. All this swaying drove me crazy, next time I'm staying more laid back.

I'm so sorry. Yes you can start trying again right away with that type of a loss. This will probably answer a lot of questions. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/29504-guide-swaying-after-miscarriage.html
I'd have you resume the diet and cardio and start TTC again at the next ovulation if you can.

If you lose that much weight then increase cal intake and you can still do exercise in that scenario

Thanks atomic. Should I wait until I'm done bleeding and then start the cardio? I passed the sac today. My pregnancy test went back to super light already. Will get HCG draw tomorrow. Yesterday, my HCG was at 850. This is my first miscarriage (May have had a chemical the cycle before this). My midwife said to TTC after a period because she said it's too confusing for them to date if it's right after a miscarriage. But if I track ovulation I should be fine right? If I opt to do couch potato, will that hurt my chances of girl by a lot? My kids hate the gym daycare and I used to push them in my double stroller but it's going to be freezing in the Midwest soon and we will be away for thanksgiving so that is 3 days where I know I can't do my cardio. Sorry for all the questions. This is all new to me and I have been TTC forever it seems.

Ohhhh and is it likely I will ovulate? I'm always crazy late at ovulation even with my healthy boys (one was CD30 and the other was CD 19). I've always had weird circumstances (just off Bcp, 1st cycle after weaning, 1st cycle after a chemical) so I don't know what my normal is. I've only had about 4 cycles in 5+ years due to pregnancy or breastfeeding and I've been pregnant after all of them (either another baby or a miscarriage).

The baby comes when it comes and I wouldn't worry about "dates". They can easily date a pregnancy from ultrasound with high accuracy and they don't need to have exact dates anyway. I would be tempted to do every 4 days and NOT track ovulation. I think that may help keep your sanity up if it takes a long time to O (which it does sometimes)
exercise has better results than couch potato but you gotta do what you gotta do. Our stats have exercise at about 75% and couch potato at about 62%, but then again TTC after a loss has good results too so that may be working for you.
CD 19 isn't late O at all and CD 30 is late but not crazy late. We can't tell what will happen now based on that, anyway. It may come 14 days after your HCG hits zero or it may not. (this may be anohter reason to hold off on exercise, exercise may delay your fertility coming back becuase your body gets "nervous" and wants to take a break) My inclination is for you to just do every 4 days, I think that will be least stressful.

Ok thanks that's helpful. I think now I'm leaning towards the cardio since you shared the percentages. Since I haven't exercised in about 5-6 weeks, do you think starting now could sway boy? I'm not quite sure how that all works. I was very consistent with the exercise may-September.

NO one really knows how it works. I don't worry the way I used to about short term cardio swaying blue, at least not in this scenario where it's very unlikely you'll be growing muscle mass. my main concern is that it may delay the return of your cycle

Ok I know I should just buy a renewal or whatever but I think I'm going to give this next ovulation one more try and cross my fingers. One more question. Since the baby stopped growing at 4 weeks (according to my midwife because the sac measured 4 weeks) but I didn't actually miscarry until I was 6 weeks 4 days (day I started bleeding) does this mean I am in the early miscarriage category that doesn't really sway (like a chemical) or am I in the time frame that would sway? My HCG was 850 the day I started mis carrying and I did have a baby bump already.

I do not have the answers you seek, I'm sorry. We just don't have the data to say for sure.
It's not a chemical because something did develop, and it's def an early loss but I just can't say how much or if it would sway.
